A Tiszántúli síkságok zarándoklatunk térképes útvonala a teljesség igénye nélkül: Gelejről indultunk el át a Borsodi-Mezőségen, majd Ároktőnél a Tisza töltésre fel, azon végig Tiszafüredig. Onnan tovább menetelve Kocsújfalu magasságában léptünk be a Hortobágy területére. Itt a Nagyiváni puszta, Pentezug, Madarasi puszta, Mihályhalma és Ecse-zug érintésével, a Hortobágy-Berettyó mentén vándoroltunk le délre végig a Dévaványai sík, Ecsegi pusztán, egészen Mezőtúrig. Innen Gyomaendrőd és Szarvas között le Székkutasig a Kardoskúti pusztára. Tovább haladva a nagyéri Montág és a komlósi Kopáncs pusztán keresztül érkeztünk meg Makó-Bogárzóhoz..
