I’ve worked with metal my whole life and this is just astonishing work.
It’s actually too good if that’s even possible. Between his shaping and the metal finishers work, it’s just incredibly impressive. Stunning.

Luc and his father are legends. The interviewer didn't seem to be too knowledgeable about this stuff.

Great point however; Not everyone watching this knows everything about Luc and his father. 90% of people that watched Overhaulin’ or heard of the show wouldn’t be able to make that distinction.
      This is for them.
If you already knew then you know.

glad a guy so important to the work of the better known car heroes is finally stepping out of the shadows and getting some recognition for the skill and hard work that custom bodied show cars represent.

Agreed, also that car is a tribute to his father which the shop is named after and so is the car as well. They worked together for over 47yrs be fore he passed few years back.

This is such a beautiful car, an amazing piece of art. Better than any Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa, Jaguar or Aston of that time.

Well as Luc said, it is made of pieces of many cars that he loves. It looks like he picked the best part of each 😎

it´s perfect but let´s not get out of reality or maybe one doesn´t know all cars released by the brands above refered and this is inspired by those brands design, the cobra was a european car but AC (the brand) closed doors and Carroll Shelby bought the bodies and installed a ford v8 ,american one it´s also a source of inspiration, but one looking notices ,Jaguar , Ferrari ,Porshe and AC cobra design, what would be great is a second car with hardtop or 2+2 style like in the E-type, there are countries who have sun all year ,taking some days in 2 or 3 monthes but when the sun is up it burns our heads so only in winterdays one can drive with the top off , a perfect car in this days , congratulations

@@RUfromthe40s True statement but a shame that most people will never see some of those past creation.

@@SEN1Media even i only knew this model when traveling from London to Scotland ,to see my sister , who lives in London and brother in Glasgow ,it looked lika a AC cobra but with 2+2 and hard top not removable but meanwhile i searched for it and discover that it´s race version was driven by Carrol Shelby when he was still a race driver in the 24 h Lemans, later he was hired as a seller for AC(as it was told me) but the brand went down and he ofered himself to make the purchase of all AC´s cobra not sold yet , so my question would be , are there ac´s cobras from AC ,engine included?Regards

Yes, most excellent. The cars built in the 50's were actually rather rough in finish and fitment. The standards now are aerospace in build quality...

Too bad there aren’t young people that have the patience and desire to learn a craft like this.

A lot of those crafts are fading, that’s why I like older vehicles as much as I appreciate the new.
