I think those abandoned platform is because lack of traffic and inflation (maybe). For example Newhurst was converted to single track due to Syde-on-Sea being closer to residential area.

@@robloxdude7564 Well good that you said, as I haven't noticed those before. Tough I fell they fall into the same category whit Freston Junction's platform 2's eastern side (being fenced off and being unclear if it is a platform or just a siding or passing track).

If you mean the underground platform at Leaton, then I covered them in part 1.
And to my knowledge all platforms at Norrington are in use.

Longbow beach is in use, tough only during weekends.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays trains doesn’t stop there
