    Great, practical tips! Thank you Jason!
    I bought a Summit pull up rope on a reel. I like how the rope is reeled in as I pulled up my pack & bow, but the flat nylon rope dug into my hands. I went back to my 4mm rope.

      Yeah I tried the flat as well and it's great for just a bow. But add a pack or camera gear or a stand and the flat is brutal. That's actually the reason I did the video. So many people asking me how I can pull up a pack on a bow line without burning my hands.

    Great information, did not know mountain climbing accessory rope was waterproof, thank for the information, great to know...

      Not 100% waterproof but very water resistant as it's so tightly braided. Dries so much faster as water tends to just run off it it rather than soak in

    I went out got the thicker rope just cuz i do like the idea of havin thicker rope just for more feel of having more rope in my hands should be easier to hold on to good idea always just used the thin stuff 👊

    Never thought about doing the bow & the pack on the same rope - just always used two. Great tip.

      @@SamkoTradBow yeah it's pretty slick, lightweight no tangle and has a little polymer rod that you can loop through your stand

    How do you like retractable ropes? Are there any that you recommend in the retractable versions?

    • @SamkoTradBow
      @SamkoTradBow  4 роки тому

      Never messed with retractable ones. Bit hear good things about them.
