Wow! This video couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I’ve been subscribed to your channel since the relaxed hair videos. When I searched this topic about starting a channel, I was watching random people but nobody that I was actually subscribed to. Just a couple of days ago I literally said I wonder why Dyamond Myne hasn’t made a “How to start a UA-cam channel” video lol. Then went to UA-cam to watch some videos while I worked this morning and this was the first video that popped up! This is exactly what I needed. As an introvert, I struggle with being on the camera. You hit everything that I’ve been struggling with in this video. Self-esteem, not having the perfect background, not believing I could influence anyone etc. This video is one for the books! Thank you 🙏🏾

I am attracted to the community aspect of social media including UA-cam. It really helps to feel like you are not alone and other people are experiencing or have experiences similar to your own. I also like the uplifting aspect of it, supporting one another (even by just words) etc.

I've been following you for some years now. You are one of my top 3 of influencers i started with for beauty. Thank you for the help for those of us growing. I stated my channel in 2009 but left it and didn't start back until pandemic a little more consistently like 2021. Still slow but i do it for the joy of it. Itsbeen a struggle but Its been my therapy. ❤

Heyyy, I’ve been a subscriber on my personal page forever but after I watched your video I figured I should take this challenge with you and see how my business (UA-cam)and confidence can grow. Social media seems so easy yet so hard. I feel like it’s so many little rules that no one knows you should follow but they say you need to follow them lol such as posting times, adding hashtags etc. I’m all over the place but great video!!

Been here for a long time I’ve always loved your vibe. I started watching you during your time when you relaxed your hair twice a year. I started doing that as well before my big chop. Crazy thing is I’ve had my UA-cam since 2009 and just lack the confidence to really push myself. I’ll start and stop.
