I was born and raised just outside of DC, spent my entire career contracting there and I have to tell you, while Jack might have been a highly personable mega-rainmaker and high-flying K Street lobbyist, he wasn't a very smart or a very good one. Good rainmakers and lobbyists are never noticed. They never draw attention to themselves. They are discrete, subtle and low-key. They are like ninja assassins: they never draw attention to themselves as they stealthily go about their business. Jack was a neat guy, a real PT Barnum. He had charisma and personality, but he didn't know how to submerge and go radio silent. That's how you cut your own throat in DC.
if every lobbyist acted with the same straightforward ethic of integrity that Jack demonstrated, then they would all be easily convicted and our system would be cleansed. Regardless we still need to change the system to make greedy behavior like this beneficial to society instead of detrimental.
Funny how just this year he plead guilty to new fraud charges in connection to a cryptocurrency deal. Seems like he hasn't changed and evolved as much as this documentary would have you believe. Even funnier is how he was convicted under the same law that was amended as a result of his previous actions.

There is a big diffrence between character and ethics among ppl you call friends. If a friend offers me money to take care of an issue - consider it done. Ethics in Government depends on your power base - you can be the best and most unethical at same time - and be successful for a short time.

Note: But in Recent decades specially in the post 1960s era things have taken a 180 degree turn and Many young Jews who belonged to Secular Jewish Families have now started getting attracted to Orthodox Jewish faith of their Ancestors, and therefore these Secular Jewish young people have now increasingly started Practicing Orthodox Jewish faith of their ancestors, and many now have even started identifying themselves as Orthodox Jew

I don't understand why at 8'18'' "religious" was put along with nice, smart, reflective, and family loving. Religiousness itself is not a virtue.
