- Sky News host Rowan Dean says it is no secret he is a climate sceptic as the “science on anything is never settled”.
Mr Dean’s comments after former prime minister Kevin Rudd put forward 80 complaints to the Australian Communications Media Authority regarding a climate sceptic segment on 10 episodes of Sky News Australia’s Outsiders program.
“Even the most widely accepted scientific theory is never beyond being questioned and being challenged,” he said.
“That is the nature of science as opposed to religion, dogma or ideology.”
If Kevin doesn't like something, then it must be something good.

You would have to conduct controlled prospective experiments on whole planets to accurately determine the climate sensitivity to atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration on close earth analog planets with 70% surface oceans.
The current mean surface temperature of Earth and the current atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration are suboptimal. A modest increase in both would have the net beneficial effects of increased agricultural yields (main effect) reduced winter heating costs and fewer deaths from hypothermia.

I agree, there is nothing wrong with what Rowan is doing or thinking. However it is now unquestionable that temperatures are rising and have been ever since I was 9 which places it about the Mid 1970's. Since then temperatures have never reduced. I strongly believe that for whatever reason Time Has Speed Up locally thus Blue Shifting Light I increasing the very lights intensity everything gains additional mass thus the Earth heats the water table boils away and sink holes appear additionally speeding up szymec activity plus asteroids and Earth gain more attractive properties. I do believe that this is a cycle that we as humans have experienced once before some 30,000 years ago at the moment of our great re-rendering. I do believe that in these times the Annunaki reappear because it is easier for them to transit here through our now warped space.

Rowan Dean is entitled to present alternative views and there is no ACMA restriction on that. About 6 months ago NOAA [United States Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration) released a report saying that there is more ice and snow in the northern hemisphere then at anytime since they started measuring ice and snow levels 65 years earlier.
Last summer Sydney had 10 consecutive days below 30 degrees Celsius for the first time in 140 years and scientists now admit that Antarctica hasn't warmed in the last 70 years.

I'm hopefully not so ignorant as to be sceptical about climate change given it has never stopped changing for over 4.5 billion years, and nothing we can do will ever cease climate change.
Rudd should read Feynman's Six Easy Pieces. chapter two where he lets us know, nothing is absolute, especially in science. We had thought so for hundreds of years, but quantum Physics blew that assumption out of the water.

If we are to count the times that SCIENCE has been found to be wrong, I'm sure we would be busy for years if not decades. The is a large pool of "Scientists" who are apt to say, vaguely most times, what ever is needed to ensure the solid foundation of their grants or white papers. And how often, even in light of recent events, have you heard a scientist say, "We were wrong"?

In the selected case studies Rowan misrepresented official data, the content of official reports and what Government policy was www.acma.gov.au/publications/2023-04/report/investigation-report-foxtel-cable-television-ltd-sky-news-australia. These were a sample of five of 80 seperate complaints, so it's likely that he was dishonest dozens of times in those few months when the complaints were made, and hundreds of times annually. Rowan can broadcast his opinion as much as he likes, but he is required to be factual when he is reporting facts.

ACMA made a ruling on the five instances sampled, not on the 80. I'm just saying on the probabilities a lot else of what Sky News Australia published under the Outsiders banner was about as reliable as what Fox News publishes. Remember that Fox News' own statement when settling their defamation case with Dominion said that what they published was false. But you'd expect that consistency in reliability given they are both owned by News Ltd, wouldn't you?
