Majestic Dolomite peaks from Alpe di Siusi, Italy

A day of spontaneity! Since our bike tour got "canceled", we ended up exploring and walking around the beautiful town of Ortisei. We then scheduled a massage from our hotel and jumped into the pool to relax. Since we still had time before our massage, we decided to visit Alpe di Siusi for a quick tour via cable car. We made sure that we'd make it because we're told they were strict about the schedule!
Alpe di Siusi or Seiser Alm is a Dolomite plateau and the largest high-altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. The beauty of the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm is majestic. It is a major tourist attraction, notably for skiing and hiking.
While we were enjoying ourselves, we also get to realize that traveling is not about checking out all the major tourist spots. It's all about taking it slowly and appreciating every moment.

Nice video. I spent big part of my life at that area. I was mainly in Castelrotto, that is not far from Ortisei. Alpe di Siusi is beautiful, but I think you were not that lucky with the weather. With sun, both in summer or winter, that place is magic. Hope you had good time.
