Out of bounds for most Pakistanis, this report gains rare access to a deeply troubled corner of Pakistan. The army claims it has South Waziristan under control, but is it a ticking time bomb of extremism?
In a military hospital in Islamabad, hundreds of "profoundly damaged and disabled" soldiers are being treated. They've come from the western tribal belt, where for the last nine years Pakistan has been waging a largely hidden war against extremists. "There has been this double game that has gone on for many years, of Pakistan supporting the NATO presence in Afghanistan and at the same time allowing the Afghan Taliban to operate against the NATO forces", explains Pakistan's foremost expert on Islamists in the region, Ahmed Rashid. He claims the government's duplicity has radicalised a local variant of the Taliban. "There is now a full-scale extremist movement in Pakistan that is trying to overthrow the State." The agents of some of the worst acts of global terrorism inhabit this remote frontier. Yet many local villagers claim life under the Taliban "was normal" and "nobody was afraid". They argue the army intervention in the region has only been destructive. In an attempt to win hearts and minds, the army has opened a high school for girls, which aid workers argue is "critical for countering extremism". However Pakistan's Taliban vow they're determined "to escalate the war".

As an American vet, I know what those brave young men are up against, and no matter what anyone may think about Pakistan government or mine, those soldiers deserve my respect. The terrain they fight in makes it almost impossible to win, yet they fight on for their country. I salute each and every one of the soldiers.

Being a Pakistani, we know very well who is responsible for this mess. No doubt if the Pak Government & Afghan Government after Soviet War rehabilitated the Taliban with Education, Homes etc, things would've been different. Now we are fighting a costly war. It has been a decade since the war on terror, the results are positive but with a huge price.

One Cleric told Allah is the air, milk and honey from heaven. As soon you land in heaven, you will breath fresh holy air, drink holy milk and honey.

You cannot deny, the Koran verses were not written when Mohammad was alive. SOME UNKNOWN WRITER concocted: Means: he made his own verses. Lets Assume you receive messages delivered by angel to tell your tribe in Arabia not to believe in gods made of stones or wood, and the god who is creator of heaven and earth is Allah. What is your first duty to is have it written down verses by verses as you receive. But, history tells, Mohammad immediately declared Jihad. He demanded "Accept my verses, or get killed." Tell me honestly, would you go on war to impose your verses? No. You would go on giving sermon of peace to inform the people Allah wants you all to worship him only and not the stone gods. my dear u have to first understand the Quran, Quran is the series of revalations, it was revealed in 23 years time to time, and Angel Gibraeel bring this revelation to the Prophet when the Prophet was being questioned by the People, for example ur previous question who is Allah, they asked the same question to the prophet so immidiately Angel bring the verses and that angel used to say to the prophet That "Say" that he is Allah one and only, then he repeat word by word to those people, and dear u dont know the history well Prophet did not imposed the Quran, when he recieve revelation he just speak to the people and they started torcher him and his followers so they left Makkah, after sometime as muslim population grews in Madina, the people of Makkah realised their strength and they signed a peace contract which was broken by those people by killing muslims then the war started, and Prophet conquer Makkah and history says that when enters Makkah back again he never harmed anyone and he did not take revenge, and it is said that when they were entering Makkah one of the companion said that today is the day of revenge so the prophet gave him a shutup call and said today is the day of mercy, this was Muhammad, and regarding muslims in a bad situation is true and its a shame on us we accept, bcz we are not following the Quran and the Prophet, and our Prophet already predicted this time he said a time will come on the muslims that people from other faiths will invite each other on the muslim countries like people invite each other on the dinner table that i eat from here and u eat from there and he said this time will come bcz would stop following Quran, and he also said that muslims will become strangers to the world, and he also said after all the victory would be for Islam bcz Allah does not need muslims to establish his relegion...
