Please, kindly send links (including UA-cam links) on how to SPLIT PEAK SERIES into two and analyze Flood frequency analysis using PEAKFQ or HEC-SSP. Thank you very much.
Thank you, very helpful video. I have a question !! how can I know the best distribution to use at the fitting stage ? I know that there are so many like pearson type 3 and Extreme value etc... and is there a software that can do this for me ?i.e. show me the best fit distribution and thanks again
She was talking about the probability being a better refference than return period. Because a 100yr return period sends a wrong notion when it can actually occur the very next day, although you r right in saying that RI and RP are the same.

Thanks for clear explanation... I would like to ask about how to estimate the uncertainty ( red lines ) for the data plotted in the graph
and under which situation should we use Gumbel method? This is really confusing me.

Hey Anne thanks for the video! Could you explain please what to do in case you have duplicates in your dataset?
It is P= m/(n+1) => Weibull plotting position
not P= m/n + 1
Great explanation. Many thanks

I need this for river water level frequency analysis to select the best location for an agricultural pump station
thank you for the video. Why you say that recurrence interval is not the same as return period? indeed they are the same

i will do it very easily with volume analysis
thank you very much
Glad it helped
indian pandits do this type of analysis from first day of universe
