How to get to Edith Falls in Trinidad

- Edith Falls, a nice, easy hike within the Chaguaramas Golf Course. You can google how to get there, but it’s the road on the left just before the entrance to the Cazabon trail aka Bamboo Cathedral and you can check out my video on that if you haven’t already here:

You’ll be walking through the old Macqueripe cocoa plantations, and I recommend doing this during Trinidad’s “Rainy season”, basically anytime during July to December
Tip 1: It’s an easy hike that will take 30-40 minutes at a nice walking pace, with some slight rock climbing and crossing a dry river.
Tip 2: Stick to the trail, if you venture off it, you may get lost and have to back track
Tip 3: Visit after some days of heavy rain. If you venture during Trinidad’s dry season, well it will be dry
Tip 4: It’s safe and easy to park your vehicle and pay the $20ttd/$3usd fee
Tip 5: Walk with water to rehydrate

How long is the hike?
It takes approximately 20-30 minutes of walking to get there

It does, but after a few days of heavy rain....
Learned that the hard way...went in dry season and reached Edith trickles rather than Edith falls🤣🤣🤣
