My husband and I are in Trinidad and we have an animal shelter with 240 cats and 22 dogs. I’ve been in 13 TSS and hurricanes including Luis (cat 4 with gusts to 5) in 1995. We are quite worried.

@@Realmphukng I wish we could but there are no shelters being opened up and on a small island there’s not too many ways to get out. We’re under a tropical storm watch but our sister isle Tobago is under a hurricane warning.
What is your citizenship? You should advise the embassy of your location and situation. They recommend getting to as high a location as possible and in a concrete structure as expecting a dangerous surge. It's a fast moving storm so you should be out of it relatively quickly. Praying for you and your pets.

I remember as a young girl and now a senior citizen going through hurricanes and tropical storms. The storms today are in a warming of the Earth and the ocean what do we expect
I pray that if you don't know God get know him because God could be speaking through the storms. My old pastor who has passed away he would tell the church about the coming hurricanes coming he said that he saw 🌊 water covering most of Florida. I couldn't see it then but I can see now. Thank God for the weather forecast peoples.

Hurricane Audrey hit June 26 1957 so Beryl isn't the first Cat 4 this early....facts matter.
They also don't take into account all the weather manipulation. Never have we seen every single storm now is categorized as "severe weather".
