I like his emphasis on the word sustainability versus organic. Lotsa reasons for that and I don't care to discuss it here. Sustainable agriculture, nice.
no problem! I do not grow these. I have been searching RollingRiver to find edile bushes to plant. They have so many! Having a hard time deciding what I want. good luck
tfiz1406 I hear what you're saying..too many choices! I'm in zone 8 and I'm trying to plant as many edible and easy to care for plants as I can in my yard..and all perennials..and so far I've planted Everbearing Mulberries, Loquats, Figs, Apples & Pears, Oranges, Lemons and Limes. The Figs, oranges, lemons & limes died..the Loquats have been flowering for 2 years but no fruit..and the Mulberries are so far the only thing that fruits for me. Blueberries are next on my list..and are so are Sea Buckthorn. What have you chosen so far?
first off, if you haven't seen the documentary Back to Eden, check it out. also on youtube check out L2Survive's channel and watch the Back to Eden tours. There is also a facebook page where I have learned some good things from all of the questions. Man, you have planted a lot! Bummer about the ones that didn't make it. How does a fresh Mulberry taste? I haven't got anything just yet. right now we are working on expanding the veggie garden. probably in the fall we will add some Pineapple Guavas. also want to try one of these.... currants, bilberries, gooseberries or honeyberries.
I have 20+ Aronia in three varieties in my garden. They are an excellent bush for Wisconsin gardens!

Sustainable is an overused word that has mixed definitions on whatever agenda one possesses.
Thank you, i have just planted one in my garden. Austria, Krems
I searched youtube for Oregon Seaberry and four out of five search results were really weird. But this was the good 1 out of 5.
Wow thanks for your effort. Please KEEP it up.
Nice information!
I have the autumn magic species.. can you eat those?
yes, its not even any more bitter than variety like Viking. I have both and like autumn magic because of its size.
Can anyone recommend a good online source for the Nero & Viking cultivars mentioned here? Thanks. =)
