When LOL surprise first came out, I hated them! I thought they were some random surprise toy that has been done so many times before and I also thought they looked inappropriate. but then I found your Monster High videos and subscribed straight away. After that you came out with a video dressed up as neonlicious and I became obsessed. Even though I haven’t got any dolls I still am mesmerised by the packaging, how mga are able to make them fun and exciting with every release and ,most importantly, I adore the fashion!

The only thing I think L.O.L. Is lacking is a good story line. Let’s be real here, monster high and ever after high were amazing dolls but the stories and movies were what kept a lot of people engaged. I think an important part of a successful doll line is the characters and stories that come with them

Really loved this video! I love the diversity of the dolls and it’s just so good that there’s a boys series.. not all boys want trucks and guns... I never got to play with dolls as a child, it was forbidden for boys, but now as an adult I get such joy from opening these. Recently I nursed my dad through cancer for the last 5 months and discovered LOL Surprise because I saw Madonna giving her kid one, so I got one to cheer me up one day. Then, I got addicted. And bought one (credit card it 😂) every day before going to the hospital. One particular visit, I had an LOL in my bag and couldn’t wait to open it. So, I reluctantly opened it in front of my dad. He completely joined in the whole process (I got finally got Nightfall) and it meant so much for me to have that moment with him. After that, my dad died two weeks later. I swear I’m gonna write a letter to Mr. Isaac Larain to tell him what his toy means to me. 🙏🏼💕 and Nightfall lives by my bed at night now. Totally agree with what you mention about the designers! They really do put there heart and soul into every detail. Thanks for saying it, hope they know we love their hard work! 👏🏿👏🏻👏👏🏽👏🏾💕So unique 💯 but the diversity and the incredible imagination that goes into making them sets them apart from all other dolls... Clawdeena, you've been a very favourite channel of mine throughout this pandemic, I'm so happy toys are getting back into the limelight with better quality after being ignored for a few years towards the end of the 2010's and I'm so greatful there are channels like yours, and a handful of other "toy collector youtubers" that have insightful details for us consumers and toy fans. I’ve never completely invested in dolls for collecting until the OMG line. I’m 17, and I can say as a little girl I was totally in to Monster High & Bratz because I loved the clothes. The OMG line has filled that part of my heart. I have 15 dolls right now and I am still looking to buy more. I’m completely in love 😭

The whole story about babies running everything in the LOL world literally sounds like Children of the Corn, where a town is run by a cult of children who kill anyone who is an adult. I wonder if MGA ever realized how similar their premise with the LOL dolls was to the cult in that particular story.
And the OMG dolls are teenagers, not adults. So one cannot rule out the possibility of the baby dolls in this universe having a cult where nobody is allowed to truly reach adulthood.

At conventions, artists will do mystery bags of buttons, prints, accessories etc and some high end niche fashion brands do the same and with the bags it’s like a take and give. For a lower price, you get a large amount of items (ex would be paying $20 for items worth $30 together) but you don’t know exactly what you’re getting.
didn't realize OMG dolls were a spinoff of LOLs... i thought it was the other way around! not a collector myself, but i do like the look of a lot of OMGs.
im grateful to LOL surprise team for kick starting the fashion doll industry once again. it has allowed for so many brands to be born and comebacks for much loved franchises. Can't wait to see how LOL OMG will compete with Monster High. I wonder if kids today will enjoy MH and bratz as much as we did ?

I was not too sure about them because I didn't understand the surprise and all the different tiers of the LOL Surprise collection but I absolutely fell in LOVE with the OMG girls. They are so amazing and I haven't gotten one that was wonky out of the box yet. And the fashions are spectacular. Also knifeing open the box was hilarious! XD (Stay safe though!)

these dolls are more modernized bratz dolls. what made bratz so successful was there so out of the ordinary faces, extreme clothing that mirrored fashion of the time, body type, and diversity. with these dolls the fashion is more modernized and the body type is also more modernized and it stuck to diversity that caused its success

I remember not understanding the lol surprise craze at first UNTIL they released omg dolls, then I really started to fall for the line. I've only bought two of the dolls thus far but there is no doubt they are stunning, and plus MGA releasing rainbow high with amazing quality, id definitely say mga is playing their cards right and I'm kind of happy they are dominating the doll market rn, though I do hope mattel steps it up
I’m glad MGA has stopped using so much plastic for the LOL dolls it was ridiculous how much plastic the first few series had. I’m happy they are using paper bags and tissue paper instead
lol is cute,and I own a couple, but I’m curious about how much longer they’re going to be made. First I personally feel and I know a lot of other collectors think this too but MGA releases way to many dolls way to fast to the point where it’s not only difficult to keep up but also cost prohibitive. This over saturation makes me wonder if we’ll start to see either less waves or if they’ll start cutting corners. I also wonder that since the blind bag craze is starting to die if they’ll be able to keep going once the hype and popularity of blind bag/box toys is gone. Just speculation of course but it’s interesting to think about to me

I bought a LOL Surprise OMG doll for my 3,5 year old. I love that doll sooo much. It is so well made. Her face is so pretty. Even though I'm a grown woman, I can's get enough of these pretty dolls
i only recently started to collect lol and omg dolls, and i've been instantly hooked. i use to play with dolls when i was little, and being a boy, i didn't really care that dolls were girls toys, they just made me happy when i played with them. i've always played with my sister's barbie dolls, and now that i've grown up and making money to be able to purchase my own dolls, it really does make me feel like a child again, and i can enjoy them more because they're my own dolls that i bought with my own hard earn money. and the enjoyment i get unboxing and dressing these dolls is also a real treat. the omg dolls are really high quality and i love them so much, the first ones i got were busy bb, rocker boi and punk grrrl, and i have not regretted my choices X3 i cannot wait for the new dolls in the future, especially the boy dolls since rocker boi is my absolute fav of the entire doll line

I love to learn the deets behind my fav doll lines and when amaya rayne came out from rainbow high she flew off of shelves REALLY fast and then once she was sold out she was gone for good and the only place i could find to buy her were reselling websites like eBay and mercari and avery styles came out a little while later and is still in stores but it was like there weren't enough amaya raynes. could you make a video on why she maybe sold out so quick and didnt restock?

Not only are they cute/beautiful, but they are much better quality than Barbie. Add in the trendy fashion aspect and the surprise factor and you get addiction to these amazing dolls. Including preorders, I have evey every single doll, and won't stop anytime soon!

I was not too sure about them because I didn't understand the surprise and all the different tiers of the LOL Surprise collection but I absolutely fell in LOVE with the OMG girls. They are so amazing and I haven't gotten one that was wonky out of the box yet. And the fashions are spectacular.

I went to Walmart one day to annoy my boyfriend and he showed me the Clarence section and I saw the kitty k one on sale so I got her coz i love sales. she was so cute and I went to Walmart the next week and got another one. these dolls are more modernized bratz dolls. what made bratz so successful was there so out of the ordinary faces, extreme clothing that mirrored fashion of the time, body type, and diversity. with these dolls the fashion is more modernized and the body type is also more modernized and it stuck to diversity that caused its success

I remember not understanding the lol surprise craze at first UNTIL they released omg dolls, then I really started to fall for the line. I've only bought two of the dolls thus far but there is no doubt they are stunning, and plus MGA releasing rainbow high with amazing quality, id definitely say mga is playing their cards right and I'm kind of happy they are dominating the doll market rn, though I do hope mattel steps it up

I’m glad MGA has stopped using so much plastic for the LOL dolls it was ridiculous how much plastic the first few series had. I’m happy they are using paper bags and tissue paper instead
lol is cute,and I own a couple, but I’m curious about how much longer they’re going to be made. First I personally feel and I know a lot of other collectors think this too but MGA releases way to many dolls way to fast to the point where it’s not only difficult to keep up but also cost prohibitive. This over saturation makes me wonder if we’ll start to see either less waves or if they’ll start cutting corners. I also wonder that since the blind bag craze is starting to die if they’ll be able to keep going once the hype and popularity of blind bag/box toys is gone. Just speculation of course but it’s interesting to think about to me
Yeah, releasing crazy amounts of dolls is never a good choice. I think that was one of the factors which led to Monster High's downfall as well.

I bought a LOL Surprise OMG doll for my 3,5 year old. I love that doll sooo much. It is so well made. Her face is so pretty. Even though I'm a grown woman, I can's get enough of these pretty dolls
i only recently started to collect lol and omg dolls, and i've been instantly hooked. i use to play with dolls when i was little, and being a boy, i didn't really care that dolls were girls toys, they just made me happy when i played with them. i've always played with my sister's barbie dolls, and now that i've grown up and making money to be able to purchase my own dolls, it really does make me feel like a child again, and i can enjoy them more because they're my own dolls that i bought with my own hard earn money. and the enjoyment i get unboxing and dressing these dolls is also a real treat. the omg dolls are really high quality and i love them so much, the first ones i got were busy bb, rocker boi and punk grrrl, and i have not regretted my choices X3 i cannot wait for the new dolls in the future, especially the boy dolls since rocker boi is my absolute fav of the entire doll line

I love to learn the deets behind my fav doll lines and when amaya rayne came out from rainbow high she flew off of shelves REALLY fast and then once she was sold out she was gone for good and the only place i could find to buy her were reselling websites like eBay and mercari and avery styles came out a little while later and is still in stores but it was like there weren't enough amaya raynes. could you make a video on why she maybe sold out so quick and didnt restock?

Awesome fun video, the Lol doll series is amazing and was they are all different and unique, I was so excited to when they released they OMG series of dolls and they are so hard to pick a favourite as they are all so unique and different and love them all, however i would have to say I love the new Remix series the most so far.
