Checking out some Hot Wheels Unleashed on the PS5. No options on modes in game. Just cranked the resolution to 4K to test it. Stable at 60FPS. There is in game HDR settings to adjust luminosity. Enjoy!

Been playing this a little bit on PS5. The haptic feedback from the controller is pretty cool, as the trigger buttons for the gas pedals push back a bit when you're revving the engine. Graphics look great, of course, and the sound is very awesome especially if you have a home theater system or fancy headphones. One of my main gripes with the game is that it's a little too easy to get thrown from the track, or in some cases miss getting back onto the track and if this happens during the last lap then you might as well just start the whole race over.
Its going to be free on psplus in october you got ripped off
@@suckit758 While I certainly would have preferred to get it "free" on PS Plus I wouldn't say I got "ripped off." I only paid $17 for it, and now I'll have it even if I turn off my subscription to PS Plus. No big loss, no big deal.
I just got this game for my PS4 and I can’t wait to open it, I used to play with Hot Wheels toy cars all the time as a child I had a crap load of them. So for me playing this is going to be cool, funny and hilarious cause when I first saw this advertised I thought “who came up with the idea for that game?” Then when I start watching gameplay vids of it on UA-cam I’m like “oh yeah I’m getting this game” lol.
No racing game will ever come close to Jak X: Combat Evolved
I’ve watched several hours of gameplay, and this game looks visually appealing, but empty af. The ai is unbeatable until the last 30 seconds, they never drift the way you have to for boost and they automatically have it, I was hoping for other modes other than racing or time trials, plenty of basic pack cars to start with definitely but is this game worth 50$ base and 90$ for the extra car and content packs? More like 25-50$ I really wanted this game but the slippery car, the ai being predictable, tracks that apart from venue are still very similar, the price, this game gets a 6/10 for me. And that’s being nice because I love the way the game itself looks the nostalgia of cars I had as a kid,
Did you play on normal or easy ? It is a difficult game and there is a bit of a learning curve. It’s not supposed to be easy though you got race hard to win
It’s for $25 for ps4, Xbox one, and series x; and $30 for ps5 on Amazon
If it is as bad as you say then saying you really want it makes no sense, I think you are being harsh. It's for a younger audience and is there not different difficulty settings ? and this could be early game I don't know but I feel like you want it but are not willing to pay the price and that has got you frustrated. I am in the same boat I want it but at around £25 to £30. I can wait though, by the time it's that price more people will be online and more DLC packs like the Batman themed one will be out. I think the fact there are no microtransactions and everything is completely unlockable in-game should be applauded as well.

Why does this game use screen space reflections on the PS5 instead of raytracing?
Because ease of programming. It is a multi platform game and consoles such as switch and last gen ps/Xbox don’t support ray tracing.
