- Showing the power of VTEC in HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED™'s multiplayer with the fully upgraded Legendary Honda S2000! It is currently one of the most popular cars in Multiplayer along with tons of community liveries. Showcasing its performance in online lobbies.
While its overall stats and performance pretty decent with 3 boost bars, sadly the handling isn't the best. It is a slightly weaker version of Knight Rider K.I.T.T. Due to the S2000's weaker handling, it can't really take sharp turns as well and sometimes you have to burn a NOS bar to clear a corner, especially at exits where it does slide to the outside wall pretty easily. As long as you are not racing on tracks with sharp 90 degree turns or 180s, you be fine.

The Honda S2000 is probably one of my favorite cars in Hot Wheels Unleashed. Really good handling and it pleases the JDM fanboy in me lol.

Wow, I wasn't expecting the sound to be so spot on compared to the real thing.
Same thing with a few others like the jesko they done a good job at that

Hope they have a tuners dlc planned for the future, even including 24/7 would be nice. Current car list is great but it’s missing some more 90’s - 00’s sportscars

Well most likely, most players will boost at the start and many of them ended up crashing xd
So there's a chance catching up and using all of your boost at the same time

Their DLC plans are available now. I can't remember everything but it's still there to see. It sounds like new track pieces, cars, venues, racing challenges, and more.
I can´t wait for this game to be 1+ year old and buy it at 20$ or less with all the DLCs included

It was popular till the RD-02 was uncovered, now every lobby I get into has atleast 4-5 of those
In my current experience, I still see more Jeskos. Though a good RD-02 is very hard to beat on tracks with long straights.

livery at 2nd and (silly)4th race reminds me my Honda S2000 sport mode in Gran Tourismo 2.
My biggest wish DLC would be more Acceleracers cars (drones and silencers, maybe special versions of base game cars) and a Speed Racer DLC. Just to see those assets again.

Looks like it's still kinda difficult to gauge when to drift around those corners. Is it the boost throwing you off? Or the car's handling?
The S2000 handling is a bit weak, so if you drift slightly too late you will end up in the wall. Other cars like KITT and Jesko have better handling and more forgiving if you mistime your drift.

I play the Honda S2000 alot, currently i'm also using the Audi R8 Spyder. Hope that i get the Koenigsegg Jesko soon lol then i'm happy with 3 Cars to use.

if the car needs to burn a boost bar to avoid losing speed in the corners, they should just give it another boost bar, make the lack of grip a quirk instead of just making it turn well, it would be boring if the cars lost their "personality" in order to have better performance

There is definitely need to be some sort of filter system or something. So many community tracks are clearly designed for torture. Some cases just made everyone in the lobby leave.
