I'm back as the CEO of Six Flags and even though Wicked Cyclone is great, I can promise you 2018 will be even better. With a brand new attraction coming to each and every Six Flags park, it's guaranteed to be our most exiting year yet. And just wait until you see what we've got planned for Six Flags Over Georgia
I'm just a family man in his his 40s riding a tiny fraction of the coasters that you guys do, so it gave me such a sense of accomplishment to hear that your reaction after riding this was the same as mine: "OMG, what just happened?!" I'm so proud to have finally ridden something that you guys consider "aggressive". Such a sense of accomplishment. LOL
I rode this 9 times too, I rode it in the front 1 time, middle 4 times, and the back 4 times. My last ride was the best ever, I got a night ride in the back with the restraint barely touching me, during the fireworks on the 3rd and it was without a doubt the best ride I have ever had.
That outer banked turn before the camera was genuinely surprising. Great feeling, really throws you out of your seat and probably one of the most memorable parts of the ride, whether you like it or not.
I just wish a struggling six flags would get one of these. I'm from St. Louis and I have only ridden 4 RMCs(this one, Goliath, Outlaw Run, and Twisted colossus. Could you do a video about top wooden roller coasters you want to see the hybrid on.
I have a feeling Lake Compounce is getting something big soon, it just all works. - It seems like the park has a good amount of money these days because they added Phobia Phear in 2016 and then directly after in 2017 they completely re-did one of their wooden roller coasters (Wildcat) and added some new sections on Boulder Dash. - If you take the train ride that goes around the side of the lake, you can see there is a pretty big lot that they seem to be clearing out, and it could be overflow parking but at the same time the two mountains of gravel just wouldn't make sense in the middle of a parking lot. - The park needs a new coaster. - There isn't much back on the south end of the park where the lot is. Maybe I'm just trying too hard to find excuses for them to get a new coaster, but this actually makes a lot of sense.
This is my favorite ride there. I am a season passes holder, and I have rode every ride there and TBH I think it is a lot better then Superman and Goliath.
This is my home park and I get to ride this a lot. You are lucky the played the video, they don't do that on a regular basis. Some operators don't play it because they like to talk. It kindve takes away sometimes.
I have been on a lot of coasters and this one, hands down, is one of the best!! I loved how smooth it was. Unfortunately, I didn’t go on it until almost closing. It was SO fun that I ran all the way back to get in line and the attendant had closed off the entrance. Such a bummer!! But I was glad I got to ride it once. Next trip here, I’ll for sure hit this end of the park up first to ride this as many times as possible!
I'm glad you made it clear that it was for hard-core enthusiasts. I've noted before that I'm not a fan of RMC's lack of handholds, but at least the coaster was true to its "theme" in that it felt like you were in a storm being whipped around in every direction; however, I like my coasters to have a clearer "narrative". For me, it was too chaotic a ride---interesting and intense, but not fun. Still, I get why you and others loved it. It's a fascinating addition to modern roller coaster development. I'll leave it to the adrenaline junkies to swoon over it.
when are your 2018 prediction videos for sixflags and cedar fair going to be out. six flags has been teasing that the announcement will be out on august 7th so you dont have much time left to make a video of it.
i am just saying what i saw from a sign today at sixflags ne. big announcement coming out aug 7th. also its not that early, in 2012 or 2013 i believe if i remember right it was august 9th.
Yeah, 2018 is going to be an interesting year. Especially since Carowinds removed White Water Falls and no progress has been made on a new ride/building for the 2017 season. We all know that Carowinds just got Winterfest, but the "pavillion" (If thats whats going up for the winter season) is nowhere NEAR done.
This ride is literally my favorite. We went here for my Senior Outing. The lines were so short so I decided to ride it 3 times. There is nothing like this at any theme park Ive been to
I'm super glad that this is my second home park, Canobie Lake Park is my home park, but Wicked Cyclone here in New England is one of the best coasters that I've ever ridden.
Just came back from New England, they changed that policy of having to go back into the queue. If you have no one in your row you are good go again. Awesome ride, was the first time I have ever been on it.
I only just started riding coasters when I went on Batman it was ok and I whet on this beast of a ride and I had no words after it was this coaster for sure that made me LOVE riding them!
As far as traditional coasters go, Wicked Cyclone is DEFINITELY AWESOME!!! Every element on it is AWESOME! Although, it's now my #2 coaster at the park. At #1, is The Joker. The insanity and unpredictably of it just is incredible!!!
WC was my first and still my favorite RMC, #2 overall behind El Toro. Got 11 rides in one day with the flash pass though the ride was brand new when I went so they were assigning seats. Got one ride in the back but was mostly placed in the front row. Also didn't like how they staple you in this park but thanks to shin guards they couldn't do it too hard
I've ridden it about 6 times... 4 on a dead day in 2015 and twice two weeks ago bc the lines were super long. I didn't like it as much in 2015 bc I thought it threw me around too much... it gave me a headache. However now it is my number 2 bc when I recently rode it it was running amazing!! It was way smoother and just more enjoyable than I had remembered
i think this is the best ride in the park. the thing that broke the tie between superman and wicked cyclone was the restraints. i had some wiggle room in the seat and i was able to catch some great airtime, whereas on superman i got stapled and didn't get much airtime. the drop on this ride is incredible, the best parts are the zero g stall, which is just amazing and makes you feel weightless, and the double down, which offered some pretty great airtime. this is the best ride in the park 10/10
Wicked Cyclone was the first and Only RMC I ever rode and I rode last Summer... I now have a high expectations for RMC now😂🤣 I love the outer bank turn!
Hey! I announced this to the nation! But something you need to know about me is while 2017 was an amazing year for Six Flags, 2018 will be even better.
I rode this last Tuesday. It was my first RMC. OH MY GOD. This is unlike any ride I have ever experienced. I rode Superman for the first time on the same day, and I can easily, easily believe that Superman was the greatest roller coaster in the world for years after it opened. Superman is extraordinary. Wicked Cyclone is better.
I know I did. I was at the park on a pretty dead day and people were still line cutting. Like seriously the lines were 20 minutes max. On the flip side I guess it was Okay cuz lines were 20 minutes but still
Andrew Wu I didn't experience any line jumping. And to be honest. Superman was my number four at the park. I found the airtime pretty weak. Batman was my number 2 and joker was my number 3 at the park. I only rode in the 2nd to back because front row had either a really long line, or I wasn't allowed to ride. I rode 2nd to back because the ride attendant forced me to sit there twice.
I'd like to note that the blue train has random like bumps or pot holes. Theres always been one at the bottom of the first drop but for some the blue train has it at the first drop middle of overbank and after of over bank spot before ejector hill. Then the end of the ejector hill. Then before the zero g roll. Then it has another one after then the final one at the middle of the final overbank. And these bumps hurt. I think it's the carts sliding back and fourth and hitting the bolt heads. The only one that's always happened for the past 2 to 3 years is the one after the first drop. And I've noticed that the pot holes started around last year. I'd also like to add on that one time i rode this the little side thing with the railing on the side of the train was loose and shaking like crazy so i felt like it was going to fly off. I do hate the operations for this. Its extremely bad and slow. They used to do it where they check the seat belt then go back push and check the lap bars. But as of recently, they now have 4 staff and they check it the seatbelt and then pull down and check the lap bar. Which is slightly faster but the ADA pass slows down operations because they cant hold gates for some reason.
I think they needed some type of water element like water spouts as part of the theming as well. I thought the restraints were awesome; I wish El Toro had those type of restraints.
This was me, my sister, and my dad's first RMC and let me tell you, it brought a tear to my eye the first time I rode it. I want to go back so badly but I also can't wait to do some more RMC coasters soon!
i rode this four times earlier today and it was HAULING the entire day, the airtime was top notch and the hang time was great on the zero G stall. every hill I got airtime and personally, I think it’s the best ride in the park and in New England. Sorry Boulder Dash!
SFNE is my home park and as of right now the track has gotten a little rougher but the ride is still very much enjoyable and the roughness does not effect the ride experience at all just take note that next time you visit it wont be as smooth
Wicked Cyclone was an incredible ride!!! Superman is my favorite and Wicked Cyclone easily takes second! I liked the speed of Superman better but the elements on Wicked Cyclone better!
I'm a hardcore coaster enthusiast yet I like Superman much more than Wicked Cyclone. As great as Wicked Cyclone is it just will never be as much of a thrill as Superman to me.
For me supermen and wicked cyclone are tied. Both amazing and unique, both 9.5/10 for me. Both in my top 10 for sure. SFNE has one of the best one two punches of any park with those 2.
They should RMC their Larson Super Loop
Terrorble but they aren't wood
Lnboria Its sarcasm
Terrorble I was playing with the joke geez
Coaster Kitten Doesn't matter, both of them are broken all the time.
Yea and it would be good lol
I'm back as the CEO of Six Flags and even though Wicked Cyclone is great, I can promise you 2018 will be even better. With a brand new attraction coming to each and every Six Flags park, it's guaranteed to be our most exiting year yet. And just wait until you see what we've got planned for Six Flags Over Georgia
Jim Reid-Anderson, now I believe this guy is Jim
Jim Reid-Anderson Is this Really Jim Reid Anderson
Whaaaaaaaaat!
shane brown yes, and if you're all wondering why I've taken over the position of CEO, john Duffey found his kryptonite, an original coaster.
Jim Reid-Anderson true!!!I can't believe that your watching coaster studios! You are the best!
Been on that so many times and going upside down with the lap bar is so weird yet very thriling
LOL
I loved it too. Rode it before when it was just Cyclone, but it's even better now.
Yeah, that *stall type thing* was first done on RMC's coaster at Silver Dollar City on Outlaw Run.
I rode this 9 times too, I rode it in the front 1 time, middle 4 times, and the back 4 times. My last ride was the best ever, I got a night ride in the back with the restraint barely touching me, during the fireworks on the 3rd and it was without a doubt the best ride I have ever had.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought this review was presented by Friendly's and thought, "Damn, Taylor's gotten sponsors for his vids now?"
Hands down I went on this after the Superman and this coaster was way more intense to me !!!! Probably the best one in the park
well if you don't like outward bank turns, RMC mean streak has a huge one after the top hat so good luck with that.
outward banked turns are such a weird feeling but in a good way
The Wicked Cyclone always makes me hungry because of Friendlys
What?
@@intaminfanboy2903 from what I remember from being at the park, there’s a Friendlys right near wicked cyclone lol
@@intaminfanboy2903 its a chain restaurant in new england, new york and new jersey
Kind of like applebees except if applebees wasn’t over priced garbage
I rode this just this past summer and out of the 4 of us I was the only one who could tolerate the ride. However I agree this ride is a work of art.
This will be my first RMC and my 100th coaster.
WHY CANT WE HAVE A RMC IN SWIZERLAND.
ITS NOT THAT HARD TO BUILD A THEMEPARK IN SWIZERLAND!!!
In the last few weeks I’ve been on it close to, or maybe more than 20 times, and it never gets old
Next can you do Boulder Dash Review? That's at my other home park
Coaster Box me too
I got a 52 ride marathon on it, 95% of them being zen rides, and I got to lap it without getting up.
I grew up riding the original Cyclone way back when it was Riverside Amusement Park. Good to hear they've done well with the new version.
My absolute favorite RMC (until I ride Steel Vengeance of course!)
In my opinion those outer banks are some of the best moments on the ride
This was my first RMC and my 150th coaster ridden yesterday. It was so good that I lost my voice and rode it twice
Sfne is my home park and I'm so happy you reviewed a coaster from my home park
1:23 Doesn't RMC Mean Streak have one of these for it's second inversion? ;D
I'll leave it to the adrenaline junkies to swoon over it.
I'm going to Six Flags New England in late August and this will be my 1st RMC roller coaster
when are your 2018 prediction videos for sixflags and cedar fair going to be out. six flags has been teasing that the announcement will be out on august 7th so you dont have much time left to make a video of it.
I'll be traveling until August first, so it'll have to be in early august
Matthew P August 7 is really early for those announcements to come out
i am just saying what i saw from a sign today at sixflags ne. big announcement coming out aug 7th. also its not that early, in 2012 or 2013 i believe if i remember right it was august 9th.

I absolutely love the outer banked turns they really throw you out of your seat and are very surprising
I'm riding wicked cyclone in 3 weeks. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!
Does anyone else like Friendly's? Only people from the north know what it is (ironically, I actually live in the south :3)..
Friendly's was my childhood!
Go Friendlys I go to that place all the time
Thanks for the review! I'm going to ride it Tuesday and it will be my 100th coaster!! I just started counting last summer
I'm super glad that this is my second home park, Canobie Lake Park is my home park, but Wicked Cyclone here in New England is one of the best coasters that I've ever ridden.
Canobie is my home park too!
I really want to ride this thing. If I come to six flags New England In August I will absolutely ride it.
Just came back from New England, they changed that policy of having to go back into the queue. If you have no one in your row you are good go again. Awesome ride, was the first time I have ever been on it.
Soooo glad to have that in my home park
I only just started riding coasters when I went on Batman it was ok and I whet on this beast of a ride and I had no words after it was this coaster for sure that made me LOVE riding them!
As far as traditional coasters go, Wicked Cyclone is DEFINITELY AWESOME!!! Every element on it is AWESOME! Although, it's now my #2 coaster at the park. At #1, is The Joker. The insanity and unpredictably of it just is incredible!!!
This one if the most complete full cycle coasters out there. U must ride it before you can even imagine how dangerous fun it is 😯
I love this ride so much last time I was there I got 14 rides on it. this is a great ride love it. RMC Best roller coaster manufacture.
Wicked Cyclone is my favorite coaster! I even like it better than i305! Glad you liked it to!
I was there two days ago and unfortunately it wasn't having a great day hopefully next visit it's running better
It's my favorite coaster of all time
Having been on Wicked Cyclone a bunch of times, I concur: It's an awesome coaster.
I got to ride it towards the end of July and I rode it 3 times! best ride in the park!!!
I rode Wicked Cyclone today and it was a phenomenal coaster.
I rode the Wicked Cyclone more than 5 times, its filled with air time and the inversions are soo incredibly smooth
Taylor you are the best person I have ever met you work so hard on your videos sTay great😀
i think this is the best ride in the park. the thing that broke the tie between superman and wicked cyclone was the restraints. i had some wiggle room in the seat and i was able to catch some great airtime, whereas on superman i got stapled and didn't get much airtime. the drop on this ride is incredible, the best parts are the zero g stall, which is just amazing and makes you feel weightless, and the double down, which offered some pretty great airtime. this is the best ride in the park 10/10
I rode this 6 times last year, I love it.
Once I was at a park with an RMC (I forget which) and there was a gp that said “you know this is too much like the coaster that used to be here”
Taylor I rode this many times favorite RMC!I love the intensity and the airtime on this coaster!I agree with everything you said!🎢
C Rizzy I ridden iron rattler and this!!
Wicked Cyclone was the first and Only RMC I ever rode and I rode last Summer... I now have a high expectations for RMC now😂🤣 I love the outer bank turn!
Another great coaster and another great review.
Hey! I announced this to the nation! But something you need to know about me is while 2017 was an amazing year for Six Flags, 2018 will be even better.
I rode it today and it is one of my favorite roller coasters!!! 11/10

Wicked Cyclone is better.
Just rode it yesterday as my first RMC
Was the 2nd best coaster in the rode trip is in the same park?
My opinion of the best RMC
1. Lightning rod
2. Iron rattler
3. Wicked cyclone
4. Twisted colossus
5. Outlaw run
Wildfire is the best RMC
I have a cousin that lives in Massachusetts so I'm gonna try to get over there and get to SFNE within the next few years.
It's gonna be my first RMC in a couple of weeks! I'm so hyped
I rode 2nd to back because the ride attendant forced me to sit there twice.
FINALLY I'V BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!
I can't wait for six flags new England to confirm their ride or coaster
I'd like to note that the blue train has random like bumps or pot holes. Theres always been one at the bottom of the first drop but for some the blue train has it at the first drop middle of overbank and after of over bank spot before ejector hill. home park! love this!
I'm not a roller coaster enthusiast but I also really liked it and I thought it was more fun than super man. I loved the back too
I think they needed some type of water element like water spouts as part of the theming as well. I thought the restraints were awesome; I wish El Toro had those type of restraints.
I love Wicked Cyclone definitely the best RMC in my opinion
rode this last week, was my first coaster
Wicked cyclone is Terrific!
What! The outer bank turns are where its at!
I've been waiting for this!
This was me, my sister, and my dad's first RMC and let me tell you, it brought a tear to my eye the first time I rode it. I want to go back so badly but I also can't wait to do some more RMC coasters soon!
It my number 4 roller coaster out of my top ten
Wicked Cyclone is my No. 1. Rode it a year ago.
I met u here, I really appreciate meeting u, I hopefully do it again
Agree with every word. This is the most under-talked about coaster
I experienced it last year and it was great
Taylor can you go to a cute little theme park in Blowing Rock NC , called Tweetsie Railroad!
always fun at my home park :)
i rode this four times earlier today and it was HAULING the entire day, the airtime was top notch and the hang time was great on the zero G stall. every hill I got airtime and personally, I think it’s the best ride in the park and in New England. Sorry Boulder Dash!
I love outer banked turns
SFNE is my home park and as of right now the track has gotten a little rougher but the ride is still very much enjoyable and the roughness does not effect the ride experience at all just take note that next time you visit it wont be as smooth
Wicked Cyclone was an incredible ride!!! Superman is my favorite and Wicked Cyclone easily takes second! I liked the speed of Superman better but the elements on Wicked Cyclone better!
I realized that at night they make the ride faster, so you feel the airtime better
I'm a hardcore coaster enthusiast yet I like Superman much more than Wicked Cyclone.
As great as Wicked Cyclone is it just will never be as much of a thrill as Superman to me.
Yeah, in my experience, opinions among enthusiasts as to the favorite at SFNE are evenly divided between those two.
I'm a hardcore enthusiast and prefer Superman also, but not by much. I think they're both 10/10 rides and sfne has one of the best top 2s ever.
For me supermen and wicked cyclone are tied. Both amazing and unique, both 9.5/10 for me. Both in my top 10 for sure. SFNE has one of the best one two punches of any park with those 2.
Jesus Christ this was amazing
3:17 Did you sit in row 6?
What I couldn't believe when we went was how this was a walk on all day. Superman was 30-60 minutes.
LOVED this coaster. Made the extra drive to SFNE worthwhile since Superman was soooooo boring.
My first RMC!
