You can measure round the hem of the circle to be sure. But it's around 5-7 yards for a 1080 degrees flare. The bigger the waist, the more the crinoline.

Please, are we to notch after sewing the crinoline along the edges of the peplum? I mean will it be easy to iron without notching? It looks so easy on the video...

If you follow the steps in the video, you don't need to notch anything ma. The ironing is the sweetest part once you join the crinoline exactly the way I did in the video.
