Hello,
At 0:38, I mentioned that the radius from the last tutorial was 26”. I meant to say that the circumference was 26” not the radius. Please forgive the error. 🙏🏿
So your circumference would always be your waist measurement right ?
@@yoziggy5356 yes, IF you want the peplum to be round your waist
Otherwise, the circumference will always be the measurement round the area where you intend to sew the peplum.
Par exemple - if you want it at the hem of your skirt, the measurement round the hem of your skirt will be your circumference
So genius, so different from how I usually sew, which is without any math because I'm not great w math. But maybe if I keep watching these videos it will all become more clear.
@@talleytill8802 yes, practise, practise. You’ve got this! 💯💪👍
Thank you so much for this easy method. I have been having challenges on this. But now I know better

Wow... Well understood. I have been looking for a simpler fomular and method of drafting this 720 degree flare. Thank you ma!😊
You are so welcome!
You have just taught me better than anyone. Thank you so much. I totally get it now. Love the measurements. My only question is can you use these same measurements for every sized woman? I am a size 10-12 but my best friend is a size 6-8... Another friend of mine is a size 14-16.
How will the measurements for the peplum change by size?
Thank you for your answer...
Hi. I’m glad you love the video.
Okay let’s assume you want to make a skirt for yourself and your friends; measure around your waists - this will be the radius. The formula remains the same as long as you have a radius. The length varies based on preference.
I hope this is helpful 😊
The best explanation! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this.God bless you

Thank you for this
Pls how many yards of fabric do you think i can use for a 1080 flare?
Exquisite 💯👌🏿thx alot
Well explained. Thanks so much
Thank yoy sooooo much finaly i understand it!!!
You’re welcome
Wow ur too much , u made me understand this better buh if u want to pleat ur peplum how many inches do u add in each full flare?
It depends on how many pleats you want and how wide you want it.
For 1 pleat with 3" width, that'll be extra 6"
For 1 pleat with 4" width, you'll need extra 8"
You can use this for the calculation
Good luck!
How many yards is enough for a 1080 degree flare please?
Pls is d 26 d standard circumference? or we will use our own body circumference for d calculation?
oh yes, you have to measure your own body.
26" is the waist circumference of my mannequin
Thx s lot!
You teach me what has been eating my head
I'm glad it was helpful
How do you get the radius of 26
The waist measurement of my mannequin
Thank you so much
i have a question, how do i know the total length is required if it is 360 deg flare? how do i measure that?
For any of the flares, once you calculate your radius, add your desired flare length to it. That’s what you’ll use to fold your fabric
@@GraceyStitches thank you for your reply. Got it.
U are too much. Better than d best. My love . thanks
You're most welcome
Thanks for sharing and God bless you.
Could you please write out the formula for the 90,180,270,360... in the comment section?
If it is possible,i will be grateful ma.
Hello
Thank you for watching
I’m sorry I may not be able to do that.Otherwise, the purpose of doing a video will be defeated. That’s why I really took my time to explain and state them in the video
If there’s a part that you do not understand, please let me know 🌹
