- Worth noting that eating 5 eggs in one sitting is probably not a great idea, 1/2 a sandwich is probably enough.
Ingredients
5 eggs
2 pieces white bread (Shokupan) if you can get some
2 tbsp mayonnaise
small handful dill, finely sliced
tsp mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Add the eggs to boiling water, and boil 2 of the eggs for 7 minutes and 3 eggs for 10 minutes
2. When the time's up, plunge them straight into ice cold water.
3. Peel the eggs and keep the 2 x 7 minute eggs to one side.
4. Mash the 10 minute eggs and mix through the mayo, dill, mustard and season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the mashed eggs on both pieces of bread and leave 2 indents on the angle and place your soft eggs in there. Place one slice of bread on the other and then slice the bread crusts off.
6. Wrap tight in cling film and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour before slicing and enjoying! - Навчання та стиль

@@Jukkahkan not quite, this one is based on the Japanese sandwich. You can see in the ingredients list that he recommends Japanese bread for it too.
Looks great. Simple but great. I would have kept the crust though. The crust is delicious.

@@JayyBee5557 honestly it is so weird when people do that. If someone serves me sandwiches with the crust cut off that's like the best part AND 1/4 of the entire sandwich gone... i'd feel so cheated

Crusts are the best part, plus I hate waste! If you insist on cutting crusts, remove them before making the sandwich so you don’t waste filling too!!!
@@JayyBee5557 Because it's very rough and dry, compared to the very soft inside of the bread. And the soft texture between the 2 slices of bread.

Our hens are laying about a dozen eggs a day. Every egg recipe is being exercised. This one is a neat twist on an old idea. Plus it uses five eggs, hallelujah.❤
Wow! That's a lot of eggs. Is there any way to freeze eggs, so you have them when the hens are less productive? I've only ever frozen quiches and cakes made with a lot of eggs.

@@lisamckay5058 a long with freezing products you make with eggs you can freeze raw eggs. Separate the yolks from whites and freeze one yolk or one white per ice cube mold. Store them in a bread bag and thaw as you need them . Obviously they aren't sunny side up ready but french toast here we come.

Have u rlly never seen a dog eat/get into anything that reeks of rotten or death or both 💀 dogs literally eat other animals/people poo, puke, and the smellier the butthole the more they sniff/lick. They love period blood too. Basically anything musty and pungent. So no they would eat tf outta that fart and inhale it like no other 😂😂

@@korncsaba it’s actually however you like em. I’ve tried from 4 1/2 min to 10 min eggs to see what I like. Anywhere from 5-7 I think is perfect for me.
You can see his whole eggs weren’t all the way hard boiled like the rest of them.

The paste you made is very similar to what we call oeufs mimosas here in France. Boiled eggs cut in half, scooping the yoke, crumbling it then adding mayo + chives/parsley, then filling the empty whites with the paste. Delicious.

I gotta hope it's purely presentation in this case. Because IMO it's an absolute waste and you shouldn't do it. I feel everyone knows that crusts aren't ideal, but that doesn't mean you should waste them.

@@Dave-Shearer its either mayo or if you wanna make it a bit healthier you can go with sour cream as it goes very well with everything in this recipe. This is a personal preference ofc but you could also add a bit of lime/lemon juice to the mix it ties the whole thing together perfectly

@@tiborklein5349 actually eggs have very high quantity of HDL.....which nullifies the LDL .....i am eating 6 boil eggs a day from past 1.5 yrs with regular checkups and nothings changed except my Body MUSCLE MASS....adter whey eggs are the best even better than chicken salmon
@@tiborklein5349 eggs do not affect cholesterol. But they are high in choline which is great for the liver and brain

Mom''s egg salad sandwiches were always served warm and had a little curry powder and some dill pickle chopped into them. The eggs weren't as pulverzed down as well. Mom's were EGGcellent!

Try going in with a little curry powder to the mashed eggs. Anything from a sprinkle up to 1/4 tsp, taste it as you go, you can always add more if you like a bit of spice Devilled egg sandwiches. My ex made the best.
