Great start to my Saturday having a coffee and watching your porcini picking. I’m going mushroom picking today.I’m finding slippery jacks lately and yesterday I found some hedge hogs here in Grande Cache. Still looking for my first porcini. We are at 4200 feet here.what elevation are u finding them at? Thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks for watching!! We find them anywhere between 4000 and 6500ft elevation. They love spruce trees so keep a good eye out for stands of spruce. Depending on location, you guy may not get a solid flush of Porcini's until the fall. I know different regions are slightly different.
