The Philippines pronounces the double L like "Lya". Of all the former Spanish colonies we are the only ones that do this, I'm honestly at awe at how you don't know about our unique pronunciation. Apparently the "Lya" pronunciation was the original one, but the "ya" pronunciation took over everywhere, even in Spain.
Zsa Zsa transports me to a different time and place. She is a classic. She and Kuh have duets that just sweep me off my feet.
Grabe is like grave in Spanish . Intense immense, strong . So wow grabe is like wow that was powerful, a lot , beautiful, strong, even too much sometimes. Depends how and when you say it.

The filipino word “GRABE” came from a spanish word GRAVE. In philippines we use this as expression most of the time & its sometimes assotiated with other word to make it to a superlative word to the exterme. Like saying extremely intense means its “too much”. It could be used in negative or positive way of discribing things, event, emotions or any adverb that we could think of.
Its only my opinion on how i understand it & how we use it. which is so uniquely & widely used in several dialects. Used in tagalog, visayan & more.
