    First time watching you. I’ve watched several similar videos. You did the best job covering both pattern tips AND using Stretch Magic. I just made one using the size 7. But even though I used tiles on the end , my knots are still too big for them. Right away, I heard you say to use size 5 to prevent that. Should have watched you first! I Subscribed.

    Interesting video...
    ...I am not sure, if you mentioned that Tila-Beads have an up- and a down-side: you can see it in the close-up at ~ 5:00 - it's quite important to the design.

I don't have her wrist size so I thought a stretch bracelet would be a solution.Unfortunately it isn't. Is there another way to make this a fit?

    • @evedillingham6847
      @evedillingham6847 Рік тому

      100% agree. Knot was too large to be pulled into the Tila holes. 😢 I ended up crimping a crimp bead cover over each knot to hide them. Looks much better than Stretch Magic knots!

    I’m not twisting my strands (also using Czech glass tile beads), but my bracelet looks twisted when I tie it off. I’m using the same cord you are using (though I’ve had it a while) and the strands are NOT twisted, but the bracelet doesn’t hang in a circle...the beads turn. I move the cord I’m tying off back and forth in the beads and when I pick up the ends, the bracelet hangs properly. Without moving anything I tie off the two ends of the same cord and it twists. I even tied both cords properly and tried to gently stretch/slide the beads along through the bracelet, but it still looks misshapen. Ideas?

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  4 роки тому +2

      Hi there! Hmm, not sure... could it be that the strands have been tied too tightly? Our project features Japanese Tila tile beads rather than the Czech Tile beads but I don’t think that would make much of a difference in the way it lays. Feel free to send us a picture on Facebook to “The Bead Place” and we can maybe help spot the problem.

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  4 роки тому +1

      Tila Beads are 5mm x 5mm x 1.9mm. There are not different sized whole Tilas, but there are Half Tilas and Quarter Tilas. There are however different sizes and brands of tile beads like the Czech tiles that are a little bit thicker, smaller, and have rounded corners.
