I thoroughly enjoyed that!
Thanks 👍 🇺🇸
Very impressive system!
fun part testing it. repairs are neat. not seen a video on a procedure
best looking war plane in the history ! second to none !
I love the BRRRRRRRRRRRRRP. It never gets old.
I worked on the A-10 gun for almost twenty years. Most of this is pure fantasy. The gun is never fired at the maintenance level.
It would be prohibitively expensive to build that bullet catch at every A-10 base. At 4:16 in the video, they are not loading the ALA
The ALA is just the interface between the cans and the aircraft. The rounds you see here are being loaded into the plastic holders
and into the cans. There are only a few target rangers that will allow, API rounds they tear up the ranges too much plus it is
extremely expensive. at 2:30 and several other times it shows a twenty mm. This is not...and I repeat not a realistic portrait on GAU-8 avenger
Maintenace
Saw that too. The m61 has 6 barrels and the gau8 has 7.
Reminds me of the volcan mini gun firing 💪🏾🔥
Those are sick nasty
The military engineering of the great powers is impressive. It is interesting to know that there is the conflict side of war and the scientific technological development side.
Remember, if you can hear the BBBBBBRRRRRT you're not the target.
You are a diff beast being able to fly the b2 spirit or even be near 1👍👌🇺🇲
The Sound of Freedom...
The sound of freedom!! Wish I lived nearby so I could hear the roar😅
In case anybody's wondering it's about $190 per round or over 160k
This is the first time I've seen the rifling inside the barrels! OMG!
It's hard to believe that it is being retired
Those aren't APCs, they are M981 FISTV (Fire Support Team Vehicle). Kind of ironic that they are now targets.
The FISTV identifies targets and sends their description and location to the Fire Direction Center.
Each armor or mechanized infantry company in the US Army has one M981, with a crew consisting of a lieutenant, a noncommissioned officer, and two soldiers. This crew also serves as advisors to the company commander on fire support issues.
Whenever I see the 30m cartridge belt. I think it’s related to a bovine, industrial scale, insemination machine.

Blasting the M901 ITV's that were fielded in the early 80's, once the M2 Bradley came out the ITV was not needed!
👍
Forgive me, I'm no expert. But, A-10 can be loaded with ~1200 rounds in 10 minutes. That's 120 rounds, per minute? This doesn't seem very quick. What am I missing?
I wish they quit using 3900 rounds a minute spec cause they cannot run it for one minute. They run it at 1 sec bursts ( 65 rounds per second) or 3 sec bursts ( 195 rounds )
One of my fav jets not planes
🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸☢️
BBBBbbrrrrrrrrrrrrttttttttttttttttt buh bye.
Mildly disappointed….😂
Во вснм мире признано не целесообразным использование лазера из за большой потребляемой мощности, а в штатах электричества валом им можно. А в войны у вас тоже его много будет? Вот что значит ни одной войны на территории сша. Плохо
And here we are at this day and age still killing each other!
get lost!
Does the aircraft keep or expel the cartridge cases? I have always wondered about this...
Fed back into the drum, I think.
Exactly, the “links” just rotate thru the drum. I loaded and worked on the Vulcan for four years during and after Nam.
