Wow that was quick and efficient work. What kind of chain to use? And look like you were not gassing it much! Your other work looks amazing! Did you use a flap disk? I also like to carve but have not tried with chainsaw!
I use a stihl 1/4 pitch chain for most of detail work, and large saws for big cuts, alot of sharpening and they cut smooth it doesn't take much throttle with a sharp chain. Yes I use a flap disk for smoothing and a 4 in Camelot chainsaw disk for smoothing, I do not recommend the chainsaw disk it is dangerous, sabertooth has some great disk that I hope to use in the future, thanks for watching!
This is red cedar native to oklahoma, thanks Curtis, have a great weekend, hope to get a hog this weekend. I hope I got the saw volume down, now it seems like the music is to loud. It sounds completely different in my editing app. It takes about 20 min to make a video, and 3 hours to edit one. I ain't to good at computers.
@OlPossumOutdoors We have a tree service business so chainsaws noise is music to my ears When i hear chainsaws running i know something productive is getting accomplished I enjoy the wood carving videos Thanks again
@@curtisshippy4602Thank you for watching, I enjoy making them, I didn't know so many people liked carving videos. Once critter season startes IL have some more cookin videos.
