Your website states this about creep: “Most trigger kits will have built-in creep due to accommodation of frame manufacturing tolerances.” Creep is the main reason for doing a trigger job. (Trigger weight is easier to adjust.) Why should I buy this if it has built-in creep?
Hi Victor. That comment is referring to "most other trigger kits". We can probably clarify that statement by adding the word other into the statement. The reason we didn't include the word "other" was simply because we do not consider our DTS to be a "trigger kit". We will update our website to clarify. Thanks for the question and we hope that answers your question.
I was taught not to dry fire pistols without a snap cap, laser bullet, or some kind of dummy round in the chamber. Will excessive dry firing without a dummy round damage this system?
Not at all. Dry firing a 1911 doesn't do any damage. We encourage owners to dry fire their 1911 as often as possible. The more familiar you get with the break, the better shooter you will be with that particular pistol.
The term "trigger system" refers to all components involved in the trigger operation. The trigger itself is just a component of the complete system. A "trigger system" is comprised of the hammer, sear, disconnector, trigger and trigger bow, and the springs. We refer to this as a Drop-In Trigger System because it is a single unit that houses all internal components of the trigger system.
Great video & content. I thank y'all for all...

No
Why is it called a "drop in trigger" assembly when it is a drop in hammer, sear, disconnector and springs?
