Hi Dewain. I'm trying to get dynamic fill inputs working, but when I enter the topic, Copilot doesn't seem to be generating a prompt to the user for any of the info. Any ideas?
@Dewain27 What I have noticed the co-pilot could not publish this new topic with inputs/outputs, it kept detecting errors. whereas in actual there is no error. While publishing everytime getting the following baseless error "We failed to publish your copilot. Validation for the bot failed". Kindly suggest how can I publish this new topic with inputs/outputs.
Thank you very much I have a question Can we create a "do you mean" feature inside the fallback topic, to suggest a set of questions that may help the user and make it better experience
Does this work in languages other than English? In my German bot I can't find the corresponding field to configure the variables to be filled dynamically.

Does this essentially allow me to keep track of the context of the conversation? So, if the user is asked a question, if an entity is detected, it proceeds and then if the user asks a follow up question or a new question then the context is maintained. Can I do that with this feature? Do you have a guide for it? Thank you very much.
short answer is yes, it will do that however, keep in mind that Copil studio only sends the last 10 turns and a summary of the rest of the conversation so if you are past 10 turns, you might lose the granularity of the context of the conversation and not slot fill.
Hi Dewain. In topic details under input I only have 3 options. 1 Variable name 2 Variable data type 3 Variable description. I'm not seeing the same thing as you are :(
@@Dewain27 , this is a great feature. However, it currently only seems to be available in English, at least that's how it's displayed in the settings ("Using generative AI to select topics / actions is only available for copilots using English. To enable and use generative mode, please remove support for all non-English languages in your copilot."). Are there plans and a time horizon when it will be possible to use it in other languages, e.g. Spanish, German, French?
what if we want to call actions in the topic, how would that work? it says the output will also be a variable, what if i want an adaptive card as the output? when is this usecase really useful? does it hallicunate?
Thanks, Dewain, for such an excellent video around inputs/outputs of a topic. This is an incredibly important feature to get those variable inputs without manual Question nodes. Can we call this an implementation of Multi-Turn conversations in copilot studio?

I watched this twice and then it clicked. This is awesome!
Thanks! This is super powerful dialog control feature!
Thanks Dewain! I had been wondering how to build something like this in Copilot Studio, so now I know

This is a confirmed bug and fix should be in soon
@@Dewain27 When will this be fixed?
Awesome!, How about the cost? does the message count for 1 or 2 when using this input/Output feature?

does it hallicunate?
for adaptive cards you would need to go to additional settings of an input, but this setting is still greyed out

Same to me. Is there a setting that is required in order to use the functionality?

So is that not a cool thing?
