      Good morning!
I love the camper! It’s a perfect fit for me. It’s a smaller camper but is surprisingly comfortable and roomy with adequate storage space. It’s lightweight but Palomino did not shortcut the build quality to keep the weight down. I have had to make a few minor repairs like loose trim (Gorilla Glue took care of that!) and a faulty wire connection from the roof top solar panel. She’s in winter storage now but I do plan to put more videos out this spring and summer. I’d like to check out some Texas ghost towns and some reportedly haunted state parks and lakes!
Are you planning to set up a truck camper rig?

@@Seeyoudowntheroad-bc7om thanks for the feed back ;) I’m thinking about a hs-750 but I here so many horror story’s on build quality . This message makes me feel a lot more confident about palomino. And yes I will be waiting for your videos . Last question lol why didn’t you use it during the winter season ? Does it have good enough insulation? Thanks in advance;)

Oh yes! I have used it in freezing weather and one night in particular at Fort Richardson State Park, I had to turn the heat down and open the overhead vent! It was below freezing outside and I was getting burned out of there!
December and January are busy months for me at work and I’m out of town almost every week so I do t have much spare time for camper road trips but I do have some tentative plans for February and beyond.
I imagine it’s like anything else, I love my F-250 but a buddy of mine is so disappointed with his Ford truck. I’ve put about 8000 miles on my truck with the camper loaded, mostly highway but I do like to get off the pavement and explore on un-maintained trails (which is why I think truck campers are the most versatile) and haven’t had any issues to speak of. Like I mentioned, there was some trim I had to resecure and I did notice a little water ingress into the camper through the front window (the one looking into the cab of the truck) but I was driving through a deluge that afternoon! The only leak I noticed and I simply recaulked around it and haven’t had any more issues even after driving through several other rain storms.
I’m confident that for the price/build quality are well balanced and I’ve had great support from the dealership. I also looked at an HS-8801 but they are about 800lbs. heavier and I wanted to conserve as much weight as possible so can add on other goodies to my camper and truck later and stay within my GVWR. My wish list consists of a new front bumper with a winch and cargo rack for more storage and a generator just to name a few!
