WOW. Thanks for taking us with you. The mounts were all so interesting. The giraffe was huge. The taxidermist sure get creative. The pigs at the fair are always cool to see. Love the livestock at the fairs. Especially the big horses. They are the most impressive animal at the fairs here. Love fair season!!! Thanks Marie and Fefe ❤️
Some of these are pristinely executed taxidermy! To make good taxidermy requires a high level of skill as an artist keeping in mind that the underlying structure is scupted then the pelt of the animal covers the sculpted body. Many of these are museum quality where it looks like the animal is alive! Many factors go into very good taxidermy that starts with how the animal passed then how soon the pelt is removed and then how the pelt is handles and processed before the artist receives the pelt. A close friend of mine works for the Museum of Natural History in NYC and is a taxidermy artist and also articulates animal skeletons in museums around the world as well as private collections. Skeleton articulation is so tediousand unbelievably difficult. Thanks so much for sharing this!
The large lop rabbit was a French Lop, broken agouti pattern color. It was fun going with you to see the taxidermy and the fair. If you have a bird fair near you I think you would enjoy that.
We have moose that run behind my home & the roam freely around Northern NH, but they are big they are so beautiful & majestic. Definitely neat to see & watch them..
I cannot believe you all are close enough to drive to Lolli Bros. auction. I have wished I could be near them. I have online bid and won 2 pieces. Thanks for taking us along.
You can tell you two aren't into native american stuff. I love it !!!! There is so much time & effort that goes into making things. I guess I love it so much since I have some in my blood & I'm married to an indian.
Hi Marie how are you feeling 🙏Taxidermy is very interesting….The raccoons playing cards and the squirrels are adorable ❤I love the piggies and bunnies😍Ella is so beautiful ❤
The light colored animal on you thumbnail is called a Takin, pronounced as: Tok-in from Asia they are very aggressive and dangerous especially when it’s baby season. If you watch Secrets of the Zoo North Carolina the have a couple episodes about the Takin, and the little kangaroo rat is a……..kangaroo rat which IS from Australia! The animal after the kangaroo rat that has a Reddish-Brownish fur and thin white stripes is a Bongo antelope from Africa! This was a fun video thanks for sharing your dogs reaction was hilarious what a cute dog!
Marie, I would have to think Moose has to have big antlers to match his body size and to fight other big males in order to breed the females. Great auction. ❤❤❤
11:26 that animal is called a takin (there happen to be four species) you only find these guys in forested valleys to rocky, grass-covered alpine mountain environmental zones of India, Bhutan Myanmar, the eastern Himalayas and China. Unfortunately they are vulnerable species for the numbers are between 7,000 and 12,000 left. On an interesting note takin are closer related to sheep.
2468 was made with quills. It's difficult working with quills their is alot involved in the work.i know because I use quills sometimes to make earrings.
Very interesting, Strange that people find dead animals as Home decor .But if you girls want. To see something really mind-blowing, look up the animal hide Helium balloons by a mongolian artist see Ripley, believe it or not, Thanks for sharing this very rare video.
Hello, Marie & fefe, the number 2468 sioux- pounced (sue)fefe, it's native american, part of their clothing.very good find & very expensive. The fish one is to. Necklaces.
Although I hate seeing taxidermy animals cause I’m such an animal lover I hope they were not killed or shot to be a taxidermy I would just hope they were found dead and not have been killed I love animal a lot and it does hurt me to see them turned into that but I do have to say that is pretty cool😊🥲🙂↕️

Moose horns are for moving snow. I think they use the notches as a way of identifying them 😊🧡💜🧡
Love the rabbits.❤
Особенно дохлых
Would like to see either animals on your farm or family outings. You guys are cool!!🙂

i missed the video love seeing all the neat thing.
What type of price did these sell for??
Where is this auction at?? 😊
11:28 it's a takin !! they're super cool, live in the Himalayas
The angry beaver was actually a woodchuck. Chucking(throwing) wood. 😅
Ella is one of my dream pets❤
Notches on a pigs ear stand for litter number on one ear and each litter has individual numbers for each litter mate on the other ear.
The one animal at 11:30 is a golden takin, they're native to China.
Wow that giraffe!!!!
Google says the animal at 12:55 is a jerboa. I think a lot of those are cool looking but I’d have no place in my home for any of it lol

Moose antler helps to cool. The body heat by sending blood vessels to the antlers
Is that a Chinese crested dog at the beginning your holding? I have 4 of them.

11:24 that’s a golden takin
I wonder how much all those taxidermied animals go for?
The rabbit with very short ears was a Netherland Dwarf rabbit I think the color category would be tan.

I always thought the paddles on moose help funnel in long distance noises 🤷🏻♀️
The blond animal with horns that you asked what it was is a Takin...
The critters u didn't know is a takin
Kiwi is worried he will become one of those Not~Animals.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That poor little dog was freaking out, because he can smell that the animals are all dead and most are predators.
10:12 how many feet does this guy have? It looks like 6. 😂please tell me I’m missing something. 😊
The golden musk ox looking animal is a takin from China or Tibet
❤

Sorry but half these were shot to be taxidermys. Most animals found dead naturally are too rotten or ate off of to become taxidermys
The skull was an ostrich
It’s a kangaroo rat😂
It’s an ostrich
I just Googled Moose Antlers for you. They are used to attract a mate, to help establish social rank, and as an acoustic device.
Amazing they are trying to sell some bad taxidermy. Some are good but some are real bad .
Lets hope non of these are not poched.
How come your husband ain't never with you anymore
Gross.
7:23 this is clearly not a Weasel……… Americans actually don’t know anything they just aim and shoot
