Arborist Ingenuity - 6 Trees in 2 Days

- Tag along with Mike, Arne and Banks as they trek out to Kirkland to remove 6 Lombardy Poplar trees. These trees were on the property of a Preparatory school on the Eastside. Each one of them towered over 120 feet tall. Armed with chainsaws, the grapple truck, AX19 and the spiderlift they soon found they would need more brain than brawn to pull this project off. The trees resided along a fence line that couldnt be removed on one side and a 5 story derelict building that used to be home to La Quinta Inn. Unable to simply fell the trees, it fell on the crew to come up with a different plan that resulted in a masterful example of thinking outside the box. Join us as Mike ascends in the airlift to take these tall trees down to stump, Banks manages the ground and Arne lends support in the form of the grapple truck.

Awesome job brother
Thanks 👍
Good work friends! It's always difficult when you can't simply cut down the trees because of an old, shaky fence.
I wanted them to fell these trees more than you could imagine. If the fence wouldn't have been there we would have been done by lunch.
Nice work, guys. How high does your manlift go?
Thanks for watching. I belive the max height on the lift is about 120 feet.
Nice! How come you guys didn't use the crane on these?
Great question, we would have loved to use our crane on these but with up to 7 crews working at any one time, the schedule doesn’t always allow for it to be on every proj.
Thanks for the comment!
@@petergruenwoldt5394 thanks for the reply.
Ugh, Lombardys. 👎
They do make for annoying removals if you can't just fell em.
