    How nice to see, people had a general interest in the shows format and his life. Refreshing also to see no-one demading he stand for a political position like today. Better respect then! Glad I was raised during those times.

    Some of the questions are obviously silly, but, it was and is vital for celebrities, politicians, and so on to be asked direct questions in front of a live audience. This is lost now thanks to the very mediums I'm typing on. And I was too young to watch my pal Phil or Johnny on TV, but I still feel this way. We need these interactions for our sanity and the security of our republic.

    Wow...for him to say '44' ...really blows my mind ...i grew up with Johnny and started watching around 79 ( i am 46) and watched until he retired . Most interviews he is in he is usually around 60 ..lol..just a joy to see him at this age ...(and man did he smoke alot in the 70s ) great clip of a legend
