@@sunooswifeq Yes they did. But most atinys dont really care much bout that. They can talk as much as they want, but ateez will still rise to the top. They hate because they know ateez has that impact. ☺️
If you’re wondering about the parrot, he’s a snitch working for the resistance (the black pirates) & he lives at the bar that Mingi shot up. The Janet Jackson video you were thinking of is Rhythm Nation. The only thing that irks me, is that only one reactor has recognized the legendary AKIRA slide that Yeosang dies with his motorcycle!
So happy you enjoy our ATEEZ. Funny you mention propaganda. ATEEZ has a song called that in the last album. And their lore has many layers…one of them breaking out of the system you’re talking about. The other being, but also related to the last, opening the eyes and ears and hearts with music and art. The beginning of their journey was asking us to join them in finding our dreams together.
That Janet Jackson song is Rhythm Nation. Totally showing my age knowing that one but whatever. Thanks for bringing ATEEZ to your buddy! They’re like no other! I see a lot of rock/metalheads gravitate towards ATEEZ because they give off that high powered vibe.
My friends and I hate Kpop (sorry!) we are basically rock and metal listeners. But we ABSOLUTELY LOVE Ateez! They’re so different!!! Listen to outlaw album it’s HAUNTING!!!! Dune esp is hauntingly beautiful like it’s summoned our souls!!!! Love love love love Ateez!!!!!
Kpop is such a narrow name for a broad genre. It's kinda like calling all American music A-pop, regardless if it's rap, pop, alternative, country, etc. I do love Ateez, though because their sound is amazing and pretty unique. Stray Kids too.
I feel pretty similarly. I basically only listen to Ateez and Day6 when it comes to Korean music, and I kinda came to the conclusion that it's because of the music itself. Neither group has a comparable "rival" in terms of sound, both are excellent live performers and essentially never lip sync unless forced to. I may listen to one or two songs from other groups, but I don't dive into their total discography like Ateez and Day6
Must watch Guerilla, Halazia and Hala Hala // all their music is fantastic. They are deep in lore and all their videos reference parts of their quest to save the world from complacency and man they do that. Their dance practices are next level. // Check out MONSTA X, ONEUS, ONEWE (K-Band), EXO, SHINee, Taemin (solo works), NCT 127, WAYV, SF9, & The BOYZ. Thanks and Happy Holidays
there's lots of good music videos around imo (i click almost every mv that shows up on my youtube landing page) i think one of the main things is that smaller and independent artists have a limited budget and so sometimes they have to defer to the archetype of their genre for audience comfort cuz they need views and $$$ bad. or the label doesnt prioritize hiring certain creative directors. she is popular (and now independent again), but i love megan thee stallion mvs. i think her most misunderstood video is probably Thot Sh!t bc i remember seeing some reviews like "oh of course she's shaking her ass" and that was the whole review, but they completely ignored the context of the first minute of the video and the fact that she wasn't dancing FOR the man in the video. she and her homegirls were following him around like they're ghosts haunting him and the video had hella horror references, which also circled back to the first minute i mentioned. not kpop obvi but i think you and your friend would have a time analyzing that video a bit. her video Cobra as well, which has a Spiritbox version now. back to ateez, its nice to see their fashions improving as time goes on since ive been a fan since the beginning and u can trace the budget increasing over time that way lol. several members have casual sponsorships with different brands. hongjoong (rapper who rolled over the "subaru") is a Balmain ambassador (part of the "Balmain Army" is that's what Balmain officially calls their people). I really like Balmain so I've been happy to see that lol. and onto the propaganda thing, some of the issue is also the fact that the industry is so condensed, so its difficult to break through and have a unique Thing that makes u known. This heightens the loyalties from some fans bc they dont want their fave group to disband quickly after subpar sales or not bringing in numbers and enticing investors, you know? ateez is from a small company and they had that issue early on and even though they're doing really well now and have broken through to be compared alongside groups from large companies ("Big 4"), a lot of those issues still apply on a larger scale. Many ateez fans are casual fans or dont really engage with a lot of kpop outside of ateez, though, so that has changed the dynamic of competition at times. on the flip side, however, a lot of ateez fans, even casuals, are adults so they will purchase an album or a concert ticket and that is the bread and butter of a group more than "who has more youtube views" so im also happy about that lol (though... im not trying to fight for tickets next time 😭). also, as much as fans do bicker and fight and can get nasty, there's also a LOT of people who don't really care about that lol. the most they'll care is if you say ateez' music and X's or Y's music is "the same." beyond that its like whatever.
I would recommend their song “Guerrilla” since you guys are metalheads
YESSSS! One of Ateez's best songs in my opinion...
