Personally, Himeko's lightcone is a solid option as it's easy to break shields in mono element teams. But such teams can't exist yet. And the buff time is only 1 turn. Thus all it needs is just a buff duration boost to 2 turns. Welt is a strong sub damage dealer and can shred shields off. The damage boost is easily good for him. However welt's lightcone is a solid option in the mirror hall as welt can *rip-off* follow-up turns from boss enemies when his ultimate is cast after bosses complete their main turn.
I think texture of Memories have decrease damage taken when u have the shield on no? With 24% damage resist when shield on, ur shield will significantly stronger tho, and unlike defend which got diminishing return, damage resist is like crit for dps, the more u stack it, the higher value it will ramp up. So i don't think it's encourage u to fight without the shield and it shouldn't be the main effect of the Light cone, it just 2nd insurance when ur thick ass skill with 24% additional damage resist get broken somehow. Also i can see why eff res is not important for Gepard, but for fire MC, if u get cc'ed, u main fail the taunted, which can lead to ur dps take massive 1 single target damage from the boss.

My reason is i don't want my tank is over tanky and doesn't provide anything else for the team, since ur AoE healing skill will be waste if u don't drop an single hp anw. Enough tanky and provide some buff or utility for the team will always better imo, that's what i learn from playing E7. So for me, both of the Presevation 5* lightcone is an A tier, maybe Moment of victory is A+ since it give thicker shield, but Day one of my new life is an S tier since it can help ur dps not dying from a boss AoE with damage resist xD

You're not taking into account how turns work particularly when talking about Harmony light cones. You mention the damage boost for Bronyas and the F2P version from Forgotten Hall only lasting 1 turn, but characters like Steele that "1 turn" can mean 4 actions, possibly more when Tingyun is involved. And any character can use their ultimate outside/before their turn and get that damage boost for both ultimate + skill.
Sure, but you're not going to have the chance todo that combo all the time. Imo the down time is too long, you're not going to do a full seele hyper carry combo every time. And not to mention with other characters numerically, speed and action forward is better. For hyper carry seele team it's better, but i still use meshing cogs and dancex3. Just my opinion tho :))

When using bronya, u will almost 100% of the time be using ur skill, and if ur running out of skill points to use her skill, means ur under-utilizing her... anyways some of above mentioned lightcones in the vid (the ones u either said were very gd or not that gd), this is just taking into account of the current set of chars we have and players are still in the "early game".. just dw ppl to think that they are either super OP or trash and spread false info. I think you underrated past and future. 1. DMG increase buffs are huge 2. ULTs and Seele extra turn mechanic don't count as a turn so the buff will still remain, giving you more value than just 1 turn in many cases. 3. It's not hard to spam Bronyas ability. This light cone is insane when paired with Seele and Bronya, which is a top meta team at the moment. Should be A tier in my opinion.
I think good night and sleep well is a good light cone for nihility, cuz the damage increase is also applies to DoT, for superimpose 1 you can get 36% damage increase, which 12% more damage than eyes of the prey. Also fermata is good for sampo and kafka since the break effect increase DMG dealt by DoT per turn and how much enemy action is delayed. Also fermata is accessible so its easier to get for f2p.
Only silence remains is rly good cone just because you gain boost attack on the start of the battle and good crit chance in the are only 2 or less enemies. Much much better than Cruising in the Stellar Sea
lol subscribe for more is actually really good for bronya if youre using her for damage. Her basic attack skill does good dmg as is, considering she always crits with it.
You can get it for free and it's 32% atk boost for ur hypercarry at max superimpose .Basicly The Catch in genshin. The only come better is the five star The battle isn't over
