You just need to disable the filter life setting.

Is removing the valance absolutely necessary?
You omitted all the cursing required to remove the plastic connectors.
Why do we have to take off the negative battery terminal?
JJ, We do this to reduce the chance of electronic components shorting.
Does this intake require a Tune?
Add one of these too my 2019 silverado but feels now that i lost power that i used to have

I haven't gotten a clear answer on K&N's but I know if you buy the one through GM is does require a remap and they include that in the price
