Did you know that you can place blocks and select them while in a ship cockpit just like you can by hand so you can take your welding ship full of parts and place the blocks just like you're doing, and then weld them while still in the ship? 😃👍

The harpy could be made your escape vessel since it would take less time to restore it then to build an equivalent ship from scratch! At least it could be the first ship for the space port!
