Wtf not to mention how many died during the passage and how many were born and bread during slavery, then to some how down play all of this buy pointing out by saying (only) and most were sent to other places and there's still slavery in Africa, All so that you and the people given you high fives can feel better, in your small minds 🤯🤮🤮🤮🤢🤮 willful ignorance 🤮

What often goes unmentioned is that out of the millions of people trafficked by slave traders, only about 500,000 were brought to America's shores, while the majority were sent to South America and the Caribbean. Slavery continues to exist today in parts of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Absolutely, most enslaved people went to South America and the Caribbean, and unfortunately, slavery still exists in parts of the world today.

There is a difference between slavery and servitude. What happened regarding slavery in America was an abomination. Every evil that could be done to slaves here was done. When you treat a human being worse than an animal, there is something sadistic about the mind of a person who can do that. Let us not believe things have changed because the only thing that has changed are the players. The game is still the same. I feel sorry for people who honestly believe that if given the chance again the same thing wouldn't happen. That is why it is so important to know your history and never forget it so that it cannot be repeated. The evil is still prevalent today just as much as it was hundreds of years ago.

slavevoyages.com there were more Travels vs Captives brought to the Americas
during that timeline; Africans traveled for work just as they do today!
People it's time to research real American History and stop believe what someone else is telling you is truth!
Africans were not the only race of people being trafficked during that timeline.
There were more Caucasian Europeans Transport Criminals Slavic Slaves brought in and POW'S/enslaved Indians/Negroes
trafficked out than African coming in. After it became illegal to enslave Indians/Negroes, africans and other races of people
were brought in the late 1800's.

Why? Not everyone who was kidnapped from Africa became an enslaved person. Most people became enslaved and their children were then enslaved. Statutes used the term "slavery" "slave" and other derivatives of the word. Why are we trying to smooth over this devastating institution? Some White people were kidnapped from European nations and found themselves serving as indentured servants here in the Americas. But indentured servants and slaves were not the same. Indentured servants had far more rights than enslaved people and they were released from their servitude after serving for three to seven years. Kidnapping is not necessarily the same as slavery.

People need to stop trying to smooth over Euro Transport Criminals, they to were later "Chattel" Slaves. The term "Slavery" is implied the
use of the word is not in the Constitution it was late manipulated to imply Africans which is a false narrative.
The point is it's time people start telling their own Family History and stop relying on Foreigners, most were not here or know nothing of
real American History and we who Ancestors are part of this land are done with interlopers trying to rewrite our history with the
false narrative all melanated people were "African Slaves" when in fact the majority of Original Blk Americans are Indigenous'
Cotton, Corn, Sugar, Tobacco ,Watermelons were our profitable corpos before the arrival of squatters and terrorist attacks on over
1500 Blk Wall St/Indigenous Blk Indians towns for the theft of Lands, Homes, Business and Surnames. Reconstruction/rewriting of
History was the overthrow of the "Indian/Negro Rule"
Unfortunately Human Trafficking is one of US most profitable commodities and still remains the same today!

The sharecropping system didn't just have black people working the fields, poor southern whites did it too. It took my family a couple generations to get out of it. It was a feudal system set up and kept both black and white people poor and barely surviving. Yes the South had segregated fields too.

People back then were incredibly resilient to endure such harsh conditions. Slavery, however, has been around for thousands of years, spanning ancient China, the Roman Empire, and the notorious Barbary slavery, where sailors were often captured if they ventured too close to the North African coast.
