Thank you for making videos. I had an ostomy placed two years ago at Cleveland Clinic. Started getting chronically malnourished from how I'm avoiding food because pain... Its a whole thing to eat a full meal in a day. Seeing my surgeon tomorrow as I'm just dropping weight at this point and we have talked a small amount on tube feed or TPN. Seeing your videos has helped a lot ♥️ thank you so much keep being you and persevering in life. you're so strong.

When you have all your fluids and you dont put in belly of plane. Can you do a gate check. It's to heavy to put in overhead.

Thank you Hannah. I have a question. I just got my port put in this past Wednesday. How do you infuse on the go? I don’t want it to stop me from living my life because I’ll be on an 8hr daily schedule. I’m flying to Jamaica in the 29th and I want to enjoy myself but I’ll be on the go quite a bit as well as flying.

I hope you had safe and wonderful trip This is great video 👍. My comment is below is long and only pertains to flying for actual vacation not for medical reasons. Bring information from your doctor for each illness that require supplies or may come up (ie the X-ray machine or during pat down). Assume the tsa employees will have no medical knowledge or information. I am extremely lucky that one of my close friends that travels with me is doctor. If you have any family or friends that work on medical field invite them on your trip when possible. TPN (mine would complete fill medium size suitcase) takes up ton of room get large cooler and wrap it carefully so they don’t bust. You can also have some of your medical supplies shipped ahead of time to the hotel. Some of my medical supply companies will ship the items overnight to me when I arrive. My biggest security issues have been with with secret service especially anything Presidents is at. They almost didn’t allow me in because of Foley catheter.

I personally would keep lines covered, there are lots of bacteria around in airports and it’s easy to get lines caught on things as you lift bags. All you need to do is say, ‘by the way I have a medical device’ as you go through the scanner. It’s more common for people to have devices than you think!

I make sure I have a swab cap on and that as soon as I'm through security, it goes back under my clothes

0:23 Do you feel like you need it?
2:00 That might make sense to someone who knows what TPN means.
3:45 Top right for your viewers. Top left for you.
5:12 You underestimate yourself, Hannah. You're making perfect sense to me, and I don't even have a pic line.
