- Use simple, washable, Elmer's school glue to keep seams from moving while you sew them. You can use either the white or clear glue, no matter! The beauty of Elmer's is that it will hold your fabric in place so you can sew, or wash out if you eventually wash the finished quilt. I use Elmer's glue in art quilts and everyday quilts. It is also non-toxic and acid free, so no reasons not to use it! The Bonnie Hunter video I refer to is here. • Speedy Hourglass!
Tiny tipped bottles can be found on Amazon. This is for 18 bottles. I buy them in bulk and share with my friends! amzn.to/43bX60q (aff link)

You bet! It's a game changer!
I use glue, it’s like second nature to me know. Especially on small piecing.
That is amazing. This is a wonderful tip. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
It works!
yes, beautifully too!
So can you share a link to the glue in addition to the bottles? Thank you
@@cindyvincent9943 it’s probably cheapest at Walmart, but here it is on Amazon. amzn.to/3TfD1BH (aff link)
Kelly, I use Elmer’s glue quite often in my quilts, and I’ve always been told that I should wash them when I’m done, because the starch in the glue could attract bugs in the future. But sometimes, I just don’t feel like washing them. What’s your opinion? Is it ok to not wash?
I don't worry about that AT ALL!! Seriously, our whole world attracts bugs!! I've had things I glued 30 years ago, not seeing any bugs around!! ;)
Thanks for the reply. That makes my day! 👍@@KellyClineQuilting
