PLC Programming Software: EATON easySoft (Full Lecture)

- In this lesson we'll familiarize ourselves with the EATON easySoft programming software used to program the EATON Easy Intelligent Relay, an inexpensive basic PLC. We'll familiarize ourselves with the software environment and use the software to write, save, edit, and manage programs, simulate a program, transfer a program to an actual device, and monitor an actual device running a real program. Not only does the use of programming software like EATON easySoft greatly simplify the program entry and editing process, the ability to work on a program offline without stopping the PLC reduces production downtime. Additionally, simulation makes it possible to test and verify functionality before going live with real world hardware in a production environment. (Full Lecture)

how about timers and all the other stuff? is there a more in-depth guide?
Not right now but stay in touch because I plan on returning to PLC timers, counters, comparators, etc. when I finish developing the basic electronics series.

Can I ask which PLC software/brand you find the most intuitive, and easy to use for basic programming?
I'll answer it this way ... NOT Allen-Bradley. Although popular and powerful their RS Logix programming software is not the most intuitive nor user friendly tool to learn. I like to start a student off with something like easy the EATON Easy Intelligent Relay or the TECO SG2 PLR (and I've heard the Automation Direct CLICK is good) before I scare them with something as complicated as Allen-Bradley.

Actually those are great little PLCs to start out on. Funny because I'm thinking about updating some of the content to include a discussion of the LOGOSs in the PLC playlist.
Hello man! I have an eaton easy719-AC-RC and i need to make a program, but i don't find the program easysoft 6 for download. Can u help me with this program or can you tell me another program that can be used to make this program in the CPU that i told before ?

Can anybody tell me that I have plc 820 DC rc model and facing the issue with cooling fans that are keep running after finishing of 120 second time delay after the completion of load bank trial of the generator. Means output Q3 is kept activated after finishing the time delay.
