This would likely also be set up similar to the NFL I’m guessing and have more rules in place. I’d be more worried about how it will affect other sports or lower level schools. This group isn’t going to support sports that aren’t making money if they choose to expand past football. If the NCAA loses football, I also don’t necessarily know if they will continue to exist. This may lead to quite a few sports being cut.

BSU got hype primarily from the Chris Petersen era, when he went 92-12 and had a near 90% career win record , which is historically unheard of. The crazy part is, this isnt actually that great by historic Boise Standards. Its not just that BSU was good under Petersen, Petersen's is actually the 3rd most successful coach in BSU history.
The reality is Boise State has excelled at football for a VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME. They hold currently the NCAA ALL Time record for consecutive winning seasons at 28 (by comparison the next P5 is at 22 and the next G5 is at 10). B1G, Big 12, and ACC all play 9 conference games. Most of them also play a non-conference P4 opponent, a non-conference G5 opponent, and the third game is about 50% G5, 50% FCS. The entire SEC plays only 8 conference games, with every single one getting a november cupcake matchup. So, while literally every other P4 team is playing a conference game, or non-conference rivalry, the entire SEC is just stat-padding against freakin' Delaware St. If the SEC really wants to prove they're the best, play 9 conference games. There are currently 3 top 15 SEC teams that won't play each other, and all three could legitimately end with the same record and conference record (Ole Miss, Alabama, and Texas). An easy tiebreaker involves any two of those playing each other in a 9th conference game.

We all knew those were going to happen. Two super leagues (AFC/NFC) college football is officially NFL Jr. But I like it, BSU needs to join though, this will screw over the ground of 5 teams

It’s coming. Just get ready. The other teams not in this league need to hurry up and create their own version. With there own national championship to play for the tv rights would definitely get picked up and they could keep there programs afloat.

This last round of “who wants a new conference” has killed college football for me. My team wasn’t a football factory, was never going to make the playoffs, nor ever be a national champion. So I quit being a fan. Done. For the first time in years I’m not attending a game. I have zero desire to support stupidity.
Now this new behemoth thing is just utterly idiotic. It’s not even worth my effort to type a response. Hell, it can all go away now. Please?

Division map kind of sucked. Redo that and it could work. I would try to model it off classic leagues and go with 8 division (instead of 9) games. That way you can have 4 inter-division matchups.

I think the CFB Super League won’t actually make money because player and coach salaries will just rise with the profits. Fans in the domestic base will be turned off because it’s NFL 2.0
It may even hurt the NFL. Less teams means less avenues to find good players and less players get produced. Theres no transfer portal to feed the colleges either because FCS and G5 will likely just wind up.

In my opinion, the new league will have roughly thirty teams. The new league will be an acknowledged Professional League. Ties to Universities will likely remain, but the teams will be managed privately. The new league will not mandate that teams must utilize their associated College Stadiums and other facilities, but it will be likely that most teams will enter into a lease agreement for the stadium of their associated University. NCAA will not dictate the number of hours that an athlete may practice. In fact, the NCAA will not dictate anything. Players will not be mandated to attend their associated University, or any other Post Secondary Education. There will be no academic entry requirements for players. By rhe way, the NLI is no longer relevant. The top QB recruit in the class of 2026 has initiated litigation about NIL compensation before he enters college. The litigation questions why the HCAA prohibits High School athletes from receiving NIL compensation. For example, If a High School Athlete reaches an agreement with a specific Team concerning his Name, Image or Likeness,, and the Team decides to print jerseys bearing the Name of the Athlete, How can the NCAA prohibit the Athlete from being compensated for the use of his Name? I believe the Litigation will prove that the NCAA can not prohibit an Athlete from receiving compensation for the use of his Name, Image or Likeness. Of course, the Athlete will not be an Adult, and their Parent or Guardian will receive the Compensation in Trust. The Mantra will be "Student-Athlets no More". Athletes will be Professionals as soon as their Name, Image or Likeness becomes marketable.

I mean current conferences, rivalry, and bowls mean nothing now. Might as well homogenize everyone so they all play the same games, have same schedules, championships etc etc. make everything the same so it’s easy to evaluate teams. We also needs to have team salary caps and positions maxes so players don’t just go to the team who pays them the most. It would also give college football all the leverage when negotiating tv deals as well. Let’s do it .

Yeah 70 schools? F that. I'm a Memphis fan so I wouldn't get a SEC team to play? Memphis has averaged 2 SEC teams played every year since the 50s. This Rudy crap 💩 is a Disney idea. Yes, I watch football to enjoy a smaller school beating a rich boy college. I hate elite crap. Screw moneyball I'm a college football fan, not a greedy selfish player fan. So no Navy vs ND game. Saying Army, Navy, and Air Force are chump schools and not worthy of a chance to play for a championship is just sad to me. It slaps the playoff system right in the face. More than half the college fans are smaller school fans. So, losing half your viewers is good?

TERRIBLE Divisions!!! Ole Miss, Bama, Georgia, FSU, Florida, and Miami all in the same division!?!? You simply can't draw up divisions like this. You have to consider how many excellent programs are in one division. 70 teams are way too many anyway. To be honest even 64 is pushing it too far. There MIGHT be 50-60 worthy programs.
