Hey very nice video. Keep up the good work. I went to the bank after meeting you and Wode Maya at the Accra mall to try to open an account. I was told I have to have a residency card. If the lady I spoke at bank knows what she’s talking about, the African Free Trade has a long way to go. She did not offer any information. Just that if I am obrini, I must have my residency card before I can open an account. So now, all my plans are on hold: all the money I was ready to spend, land acquisition and construction, all on hold. I will go for the residency, but how long will it take? Anyway, moving to Ghana is not without its challenges.
It was nice meeting you! Sorry about that but I know you will definitely do well to open the account soon and invest here in Ghana to help promote productivity 🙌🏿🙌🏿
If you are African in the diaspora i dont care where your DNA take you so far as you are black , I recommend Ghana to be your fist place and your also your dream house because in life peace comes before anything and by the grace of God Ghana is one of the peaceful place in the continent even more peaceful than America.
Diversity failed terribly in America, Europe & Asia. Africa is the only Continent a black man can call home & very peaceful for them. But since the other races are naturally racists I really don't think it'd work for them in Africa cause they are the problem. It already failed terribly in South Africa cause native Africans are the main victims of racism.
Compound, I was thinking the same thing! Like this man could basically have five wives now and already has rooms for his children. (If that was his thing). 😂
We are considering relocating (hopefully to Tema, Ghana) relatively soon and still looking for info on buying land to build our forever home. Found this video and was hoping for some insight as to the actual process to buy & build --- but at 4:38 it seems this brother is leasing... (we replayed it several times for clarification). Also, are there no property taxes on land/houses in Ghana?
Kuuh ___ thank you so much ... actually when he called me I thought he acquired the land from scratch and built all by himself ... so after my intro and he spoke I realized he bought the house and it wasn’t like this with the land, I will bring an episode on how to acquire the land! Much ❤️ love
Yea there was a lot left out nice catch the main important thing to know right off the bat is how to purchase & for residential commercial or business purposes go through a licensed professional company & make sure their license to be in practice is legit but for farm land purposes that is when they recommend the chief's because nobody can do it like they can in terms of the quantity of land by the acreage for farming purposes all land acquired by non Ghanaians can only be owned for 50 yrs whereas if you were to partner up with a Ghanaian then you can keep it for up to 99yrs only Ghanaians can out right acquire it for 99yrs though & be careful should you choose to partner up have your plans & intentions precise & clearly laid out & preferably notarized (attorneys handle that some for 600 GHS that's close to $100.00 dollars) next would be to register the land & usually this can be done through the company you purchase through but make sure that "ANY" land that you purchase is already registered by the company first for business purposes & then after that you would want to consider your registration plus a building permit which though it is a process it can be accomplished just give yourself time to understand that the business aspects of it can take a little time so allow yourself that room one more tip & it's a biggie it's WATER LOGGED AREAS ask questions because you wouldn't ordinarily know what that means but these areas are prevalent in certain areas of Accra now this has good & bad qualities the bad is flooding should Ghana experience heavy rains some have even built areas where they shouldn't have because these are waterways for following water that many communities have & their property paid the price for it so know what your building on so that is why I recommended a company because they don't just sell but they build too & handle blueprints so when they survey the land with you if it's a good company they can offer you good building spots & if you just wanted waterlogged it to has it's benefits perfect for rice growers or any other water thirsty crop then you have obviously water in abundance in these areas so you could consider how this could benefit you or maybe some of your business interests now although there are some other aspects nappy said he would be doing another video so it might go more in depth because you know Ghana has elevated for those that wanna do it right to building code standard so he may touch on all that but for now these tips outta get you going ✊🏿

I've got a question for you. Right here on youtube, I'm exploring all of Africa, and especially Ghana, and I would love to visit and maybe move there one day...but here is the question. SECURITY. I heard that if you are a foreigner, and you live on that level, the people will think you are rich, and that could lead to kidnappings, robberies, and such. So how secure is living in Ghana when you have a 10 bedroom house? Surely that attracts a lot of attention.
I promise you that there’s nothing like that here in Ghana, if there’s he won’t allow me interview him and put his house on the Internet, I hope you get me
Here's another video, but I do not know her name....at any rate, this is the thickness of what I like and one day to be married to....ua-cam.com/video/0HwcYGWfjRM/v-deo.html
Giving away Ghana to Foreigners? Ghana need to build up it middle class population so it can be more competitive to the world stage. It doesn't need to be giving it land to foreigners.
Until otherwise confirmed Ghanaian lands with freehold title are not available for sale to non citizens. Only leasholds are available. The title ownership is maintained by the long term custodians: clans and stool. This is regarding Ghana Other Afrikan states may have different land tenure laws.
Sometimes being African American feels like being an orphaned child. In America, we have constant reminders that we don’t really belong, and comments like this can make it seem like Mama Africa don’t either. 🤦🏾♀️
@@NerdyBird99 True. But it is all psychology. We, Black Americans have to make America know that we are a part of it. And to do that, we have to own a piece of America by buying into the real-estate, land, businesses, factories, ect. And it is ok that we expand to other places, which includes Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. The white man has been doing this for years, so I don't see what we shouldn't. Besides, we don't owe Africa and American anything. They owe us for what they took from us. Whether it be for allow slavery to occur or for propagating it. We are a people who have a RIGHT to our own decisions and own minds without any outside interference.

A H that’s what you don’t want. When you come thinking you are going to give to them they will remind you that they don’t need your pity and charity.Charity begins at home.
@A H Actually that is one of my biggest concern when it comes to reverse-migration. I have issues with the diaspora building gated communities to isolate themselves from the native born Ghanaians. Such is the so called Garvey Town development in which only the people from the diaspora can buy property in their community! They planned a mall, grocery store and gates like a European overlord! I, at first was interested in buying there, but I quickly changed my mind when I heard that it was only opened to the diaspora! Although, I am part of the diaspora; I will never consider buying a property in a community that native born Ghanaian who can afford it is prohibited from buying! It’s discriminatory in practice. It’s interesting as to how members of the diaspora can go to Africa to practice discrimination after condemning the act when they are on the recipient end in the West! I imagine they will shuttle the natives in and out of their gated community to do their dirty laundries and clean their toilets! The Ghanaian people opened their country to you unselfishly and welcome the diaspora with open arms and that’s how they will be paid back? I believe these people are selfish and they don’t belong in Africa. They are importing the Western sick way of living to Africa and they might as well stay in the West!!! The white man’s way hasn’t worked for them and it’s not going to. Africa needs a diaspora that will integrate and bring the best out of all of African children.

This is why im coming to Ghana this Christmas to start doing my research for my family! It about time we get ours today ☺️
Are you in Ghana
I was wondering about the price for that house

Walky Elouidor, so you came to Ghana and you didn't link up with me???? 😂😂😂

Thank you for that ✊🏿
This is beautiful but I would love to live in a place that everyone is treated equal and no rascism.
ghana is the best place
Brenda Graham, will you like to visit Ghana?
Diversity failed terribly in America, Europe & Asia. Africa is the only Continent a black man can call home & very peaceful for them. But since the other races are naturally racists I really don't think it'd work for them in Africa cause they are the problem. It already failed terribly in South Africa cause native Africans are the main victims of racism.
Great video, beautiful home. I miss 2019 no Covid 19.
Um, where can we rent a room??? 10 rooms!! That's a compound lol

@@marcusloveless7113 do you want to own a house here in Ghana?
We are considering relocating (hopefully to Tema, Ghana) relatively soon and still looking for info on buying land to build our forever home. Found this video and was hoping for some insight as to the actual process to buy & build --- but at 4:38 it seems this brother is leasing... (we replayed it several times for clarification). Also, are there no property taxes on land/houses in Ghana?
Nothing about this video shows the process of how to own Land in Gh Nappie. Thanks for the amazing video tho🙌🏾
Kuuh ___ thank you so much ... actually when he called me I thought he acquired the land from scratch and built all by himself ... so after my intro and he spoke I realized he bought the house and it wasn’t like this with the land, I will bring an episode on how to acquire the land! Much ❤️ love
@@nappiebriggs thanks for the rapid response and clarification. We got your back and continue to support your channel.
Kuuh ___ much love 😍😍😍😍😍
I'm coming home as well.. thanks for sharing 🤗
Help us diasporians find a job please!!!! I'll be there asap. I actually got a chance and moved last year may for a job offer, four months later they cut me off to save money, and back to the UK I went. I plan to never work in Ghana for a company again lol but it's the only way i can afford to move home and then start my agri business. Can i email you my cv please if u could help. But you know Ghana is a entrepreneurial country most people create their own jobs

Do they have city planners how do you know where to build building cost materials labor
Yes there are city planners to support in you land survey and also building plans!
I promise you that there’s nothing like that here in Ghana, if there’s he won’t allow me interview him and put his house on the Internet, I hope you get me
@@nappiebriggs Yes I get you. Thanks for that quick response. Speaking of internet, I am an internet entrepreneur...how fast is the internet there?

Giving away Ghana to Foreigners? Ghana need to build up it middle class population so it can be more competitive to the world stage. It doesn't need to be giving it land to foreigners.
Until otherwise confirmed Ghanaian lands with freehold title are not available for sale to non citizens. Only leasholds are available. The title ownership is maintained by the long term custodians: clans and stool.
This is regarding Ghana
Other Afrikan states may have different land tenure laws.
You can't own the land. Major problems over land disputes.
Sometimes being African American feels like being an orphaned child. In America, we have constant reminders that we don’t really belong, and comments like this can make it seem like Mama Africa don’t either. 🤦🏾♀️
Shameful comment.
Please tell me the first step

A H that’s what you don’t want. When you come thinking you are going to give to them they will remind you that they don’t need your pity and charity.Charity begins at home.
@A H
Actually that is one of my biggest concern when it comes to reverse-migration.
IV Tress no you just don’t want anyone going there and being successful.
