@@luh-mao6434 Yes. Thief Partitio in a Temenos\Throne party is an early board blast with an effective Throne follow-up. Probably the easiest way to abuse Aeber's.
I actually like dancer on Throné. It’s not a great job and she has better options, but Throné really benefits from having dagger dance and ruinous kick in order to make up for no new weapon type. It also helps strengthen Aeber’s Reckoning. With her latent ability, you can lion dance to buff her strength and then unleash your assault right after. Again, she has better job options, but she’s one of the only characters that can really make dancer work for her.
Caster Throne is very much a thing with the moon eater dagger this dagger gives 349 elemental and 285 Phisical and boost the potency of Fire and Ice based attacks. And Sunshadow is a good staff the boost light and darkness spells. You get mooneater from thrones quest line it's in lostseed and you can steal it from the NPC. So Scholar Cleric Conjurer and Arcanist can be played with out ever slowing her down.
I love Armsmaster Throné. I honestly don't have much reason why, but I tried it on Hikari, Partitio, Castti, and Osvald before slapping it on Throné, and she hasn't taken off the armor in about 30 levels (she's nearly level 70).
@@SuperiorPosterior I feel like Armsmaster is so incredibly strong that you don't wanna waste a single turn of it on using support skills. Armsmaster is 100% UNGA BUNGA every turn. I guess you could pair it with a traveler with thief as second job.
Thorné can easily fit all class niches , especially with her latent ability. She can fill any spot that’s missing. She the best character that fits situational tactics, as well which fits being a thief motif being able to adapt to their environment. I would say if you over power the teams , then you can list as one of those jobs you reckon her “top three” for her to use.
I also think you can really see everyone’s full potential mastering all jobs and testing some builds won’t he learn abilities/skills for each characters and synergize each team.
You can build throne as a top tier arcanist using mooneater dagger and the SunShadow staff along with the Stone Of truth. And can assentialy Quade Cast spells with her latent power while still getting access to abers reconing. And sence she actualy has dagger skills she's a prime target for conjuring sence the moon eater dagger gives her good split scaling for all of her abilities.
Also one thing I want to get off my chest the Conjurer Class Has absolutely no Synergy with any of the main casting classes becuase none of them have any base weapon skills to take advantage of the class with. Throne Ochett Hikari Partitio and castti will perform best as main conjurer becuase they all have weapon skills to make the Class perform well for them at peak performance. And the Sp saver passive is realy big reason why low SP chracters like Hikari can run this class like champs and pump out mad consistent dmg.
What would be the best secondary job for Throne as the main damage dealer? Only started playing and planning to pair her with Temenos and 2 flex spots. Maybe Partitio and Osvald.
If she is the main damage dealer I'd focus on either armsmaster or merchant. If you just boost her speed as much as possible the final their skill can carry you through most of the game
Dancer, she easily get 999 speed and with speed buff and physics buff, the divine theft skill do 99999 damage even with 2 bp. I often do 99999 damage aoe twice. Other character can buff her speed for 4 turns with grilled chicken so she dont have to do side step, grilled chicken you can get from ochette, any bird like enemy can be use for grilled chicken.
So I saw a video that showed a very powerful use of Throne's latent power, basically, you activate Throne's latent power, you use Reinforcing Jam on Throne on your first act, which gives you 5 BP and restores your latent power, and in your second act, you use a fully boosted Aeber's Reckoning (or any other fully boosted secondary class skill you want). Doing this she will have her latent power maxed every turn, which you can then use another reinforcing jam and repeat the process, potentially using a class special ability maxed every turn... This can even be further abused by throwing Dohter's Charity on her, so every Reinforcing Jam you use affects your entire party, so every turn (assuming your throne is first in the turn order) your party will have max BP and max latent. The possibilities are endless The only downside is, Reinforcing Jams are fairly rare, so this is not something you could do in every fight. I think you can buy them, but they are not cheap either, so you would have to have the economy for it, but if you are doing Aeber's Reckoning every turn (or any other powerful class ability), with the right gear and passives, you shouldn't have to use more than 2 or 4 for even the hardest encounters
I have my Throne using Cleric JUST so she can wield a Giant's Club. It has the additional effect of boosting physical skills... making it exceptionally easy to hit the 99,999 dmg cap, moreso than any other character, who generally require things like 1 HP/Alpione's accessory, or lots of even better gear. Just give her that club and all the best +Speed gear you can. I give her Cleric over Conjurer, Armsmaster, or Arcanist, since those jobs can only be used by one person and she mainly only needs her Thief abilities anyways. I don't use Scholar, since Giant's Club has +0 magical attack and I'd rather use +Speed on her other weapons, so she'd only benefit from the random self buffs or Analyze, while Cleric gives her decent emergency party heals and defensive buffs. I've only just obtained Conjurer, but atm my party setup is; Partitio/Arcanist - for dat sweet sweet AoE Rest & Sidestep (also AoE Reflective Barrier if Agnea is in the party), my Main traveler Agnea/Inventor - Full Power passive combined with Arkar's Coil works very similarly to Castti's OP Concoct setup, also Sealticge's Seduction when Arcanist makes it Eternal... Temenos/Scholar - Elemental Barrage + his Latent... Temenos is one of the best shield breakers in the game, this gives him 4/6 magical elements w/o his latent too Throne/Cleric - Cleric for Giant's Club access and that's really all she needs to reliably hit 99,999 dmg... Castti/Conjurer - I gave her Conjurer to buff the party, since she seems to have the most downtime inbetween abusing her Concoct ability, allowing her to buff better Osvald/Cleric - Like with Temenos, he has 4/6 magical elements, but with so many things weak to Light, Osvald can pump out some great damage with the Stone of Truth Hikari/Armsmaster - Frenzied Fire (Timberain) + Armsmaster's Hunter's Bow can put soooo many debuffs while also potentially breaking a lot of shields, hitting 4-8 times. Ochette/Warrior - Aside from Armsmaster, this gives her the most +Phys. Atk, for whenever she's not using her incredibly versatile captured beasts
Thanks for the tip with Great club as I didn't realize how big of a buff that effect was. I was using her to disguise as the Armsmaster to get our two big damage dealers but I won't need to do that if she has that club. I'm surprised Partito is your main as a support and not a damage dealer when Agnea and Castti are all you need. I'm ending boss fights in 3 turns without reaching the damage cap so I don't see the point of sidestep and rest.
No coverage of what support skills to use? Or are we just settling into some combination of A Step Ahead / Boost Start / Deal More Damage / Fruits of Labor / Upgraded Accessories / Full Power for everyone.

I’ve always loved thief since FF11. So many times she’s the one that kills the boss for me with her surprise attack. The other thief was my fave in other game as well.
12:15 I've gotta say that I _always_ try to double-up on job/weapon types when applying a subclass, because I absolutely dislike having to manage 4+ weapons on every character. 3 or less is way better, especially if I've got only a bit of overlap in my party (there's no real reason to have 4 Dancers, I feel, besides the meme of a 4x Max BP Bewildering Dance party). This is why I had Ochette focus mainly on acquiring monsters with elemental All Foe attacks after I got Armsmaster, while beforehand I had her focusing on getting physical All Foe/multi-hit attack monsters. Hikari also has All Foe Spear, Axe, Bow, and Staff attacks as his Learned Skills, though as I put him and Castti together more often, I'm thinking of replacing his Axe attack with a Wind one, because it's _really annoying_ that the only All Foe Wind attack available to us is an EX skill; the same can be said for Throné's Shadow EX skill, though that's mitigated a bit by Arcanist.
@@rcp_music1 Hikari is definitely the heaviest hitter, as I spam incite and vengeful blade, then osvald apothecary keeps him healed and rehabilitated. Throne alternates between buffing hikari’s defense or debuffing enemy attack or defense right before I break them. Throne can also dish out monster damage with her max BP thief dagger attack. Osvald can also dish out massive damage with his ultimate, after you buff him with the scholar wisdom skill. But most of the damage is just Hikari bleeding the enemy with vengeful blade.
Doesn’t dancer give the biggest speed stat boost? One upside to having Throne be a dancer, massive damage with her divine skill if you have all speed boosting equipment and accessories.
Did my story with Throne. Used hunter until I got armsmaster and then she became a menace. If you use the conjurer support skill that has chance to refund all BP used, do Sixfold with 4x BP and latency power, get BP back and hit another 4x BP sixfold, just annihilates over half of every bosses health turn 1
That's just Armsmaster being Armsmaster tbh, I tweaked the moment I saw Hikari doing somewhere around +60k with the axe move. The max damage I did up to that point was with Osvald, with Alephan's Wisdom, max bp and latent power, and it was like just 20 something thousand lmao

For SP recovery, Disguise into Temenos and Mystical Staff before transforming back. I don't think he realy touched on Hikari full potential in that video. Hikari is essentially a blue mage with over 100 learned skills at his disposal and he can play any class to its full potential magic phisical or Suppotive.
Throné/Apothecary is kinda nutty if you Dohter's Charity and then toss out a jam with her latent. I have her on a team with Partitio and run Castti on the other team... mostly because I'm too lazy to swap around and don't like when party levels are all over the place. Took a bit of work to manipulate the speed in a way where Partitio usually (but not often enough for my tastes) goes first so he can donate BP to her. I pop the latent Dohter and then pop a jam which gives him (and everyone) full BP. It's not as good as Concoct for first turn and obviously not something you'll do every fight but being able to spam those and other items really lets you go ham, especially with setups that require a lot of BP like infinite Alephan's and Aelfric's for Osvald... which is something I like to do. I basically run three supports (Throne/Temenos/Partitio) that keep him megabuffed and he just fires lasers for massive damage twice every round.
In my option the best class for everyone: Temenos --- Scholar Agnea -- Inventor (Aoe hammer is just to good to pass -- even more if she can use it at start of round with merchant ability for full charge) Hikari -- Hunter (It makes him more of a dodge tank -- you do have to learn good skills from npcs tho) Throne -- Conjurer (similar to runemaster in previos game) Ochette --- Armsmaster (with pets that debuff your enemy or buff your phy atk as they dont cost any mana to do it) Partitio --- Warrior (He can taunt the enemy and increase his armor for more turns for less cost compared to other characters) -- his job is to give bp and aggro aka a damage sponge Casti -- Cleric .. she is a healbot with a bp boost over time Osvald -- Arcanist ... seriosly, no1 else is better than him with double casting spells and even increasing damage on single with his ability for tons of damage
I'm in the midgame so far, and I'm a bit perplexed about my party set up. Here's what I'm considering using: Temenos (Main): Scholar Throne: unsure, but considering Apothecary. You keep referencing needing to have Agnea as inventor. Why is that? I currently have Throne as the inventor until I can find the Cleric job and make her cleric. What is that I want Agnea to be in my team and set as inventor?
Agneas latent skill allows her to spread single target abilities to all allies/enemies. Combine this with Springstep Boots, Critical Scope, Elemental Bomb etc. All extremely good skills are multiplied fourfold.

I don't think he realy touched on Hikari full potential in that video. Hikari is essentially a blue mage with over 100 learned skills at his disposal and he can play any class to its full potential magic phisical or Suppotive.
I hope Castti will be next
Are you going to do a casitii breakdown?
In my option the best class for everyone:
Temenos --- Scholar
Agnea -- Inventor (Aoe hammer is just to good to pass -- even more if she can use it at start of round with merchant ability for full charge)
Hikari -- Hunter (It makes him more of a dodge tank -- you do have to learn good skills from npcs tho)
Throne -- Conjurer (similar to runemaster in previos game)
Ochette --- Armsmaster (with pets that debuff your enemy or buff your phy atk as they dont cost any mana to do it)
Partitio --- Warrior (He can taunt the enemy and increase his armor for more turns for less cost compared to other characters) -- his job is to give bp and aggro aka a damage sponge
Casti -- Cleric .. she is a healbot with a bp boost over time
Osvald -- Arcanist ... seriosly, no1 else is better than him with double casting spells and even increasing damage on single with his ability for tons of damage
I'm in the midgame so far, and I'm a bit perplexed about my party set up. Here's what I'm considering using:
Temenos (Main): Scholar
Throne: unsure, but considering Apothecary. Probably gonna end up as Armsmaster though.
Partitio: Inventor
Ochette: Warrior, though mainly using her for her monsters.
Any help would be appreciated y'all!
@@Haxxardax sounds sweet. I will have to use her from now on.
@@BigDealDelivery it’s still good on Throné, she’s probably the second best character to have as you inventor. Agnea is undoubtedly the best though, team-wide springy boots and arkar’s coil are game changers
@@luh-mao6434 I don’t have Arkars Coil yet but once I get it and can make Throne a cleric, I will put Agnea in my team and start levelling her up. I’m only at about level 24ish with everyone
THRONE as worrior works well if u make her an evasion tank cus even miss triggers vengenful blade thne mix that wiht ensanre and her other debuffs pretty cool combo
I just go around town and steal everything that had a 100% chance. Then save it before going for some lower-chance success steals. If I fail I restart and try again. Then save after I succeed. But I don't even bother with anything that has 5% chance. I don't want to be there for the next 5 hours for 1 item.
The octopath 1 thief guy is more powerful
Please do Castii next. I can’t stand that character. She’s useless and her latent power is trash.
Well, that's a take. She's absolutely busted as a support.
@@TFalconwing what sub-job do you use on her for farming/bosses?
@@bryonfeliksa3845 her sub job can be merchant. Give her a bunch of speed and equip step ahead, boosf start, and full power. Then give BP to your whole party for free on turn one. Go nuts.
What makes her busted is concoct. With some set up She can do a bunch of things even break
Thanks for the tips guys.
You pick up a second job yet, plat? You’re going to need it. Don’t want to hear you complaining about money anymore.
The freak are you talking about?
Ironic how merchant and thief are the worst classes but they both have 1 skill that makes them busted. Aburs reckoning and hiring foreign assassins is what got me through the super boss
Nah thief is pretty good. Surprise attack, HP thief (2 dagger hit) and armor corrosive are really good.
But I do agree that merchant is pretty boring and would be terrible if it wasn't for donate bp. I know the arcanist combo on Partitio to make Rest affect everyone is good, but when do you even need to use that? The game is easy as hell.
