    Hello. Can we calculate the altitude we want to see and above via web applications such as Google Earth? Or is it necessary to use a PC application?

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  4 місяці тому +1

      Yes, you can calculate altitude using web applications like Google Earth.
      To calculate altitude using Google Earth, simply right-click on the location you're interested in and select "Elevation Profile." This will show you the altitude along a path or at a specific point.

    Those who are getting a red line in arcscene. All you have to do is close the ArcGIS before opening the TIN file in arcscene.

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  10 місяців тому

      Dear Zohaib Asif,
      Closing ArcGIS before opening the TIN file in ArcScene may not be the solution. Here are some troubleshooting steps to consider if you encounter a red line in ArcScene:
      1. Data Integrity: Ensure that the TIN file is not corrupted and that it was created correctly. Try opening other TIN files to see if the issue persists.
      2. Graphics Card and Driver: Check if your graphics card and its drivers are compatible with ArcScene. Sometimes, graphics card issues can cause rendering problems.
      3. Software Updates: Make sure that both ArcScene and ArcGIS are up to date. Sometimes, software updates can address rendering issues.
      4. Project Settings: Check your project settings, especially the rendering options. Adjusting rendering settings or switching between OpenGL and DirectX rendering modes in ArcScene may help resolve the issue.
      5. Hardware Limitations: Consider that your computer's hardware might not meet the system requirements for ArcScene. TIN rendering can be demanding on system resources.
      6. Data Display Properties: Review the TIN's display properties in ArcScene. Make sure that the color or symbolization settings are appropriate and not causing the red line.
      7. Data Source and Location: Verify that the TIN file's data source and location are correctly set within your ArcScene project.

    Hai, why arcscene can't display?? Thanks

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  11 місяців тому +1

      Dear, If ArcScene isn't displaying correctly,
      Check that your computer meets its system requirements.Verify the integrity of your 3D data. Update ArcScene to the latest version. Try enabling/disabling hardware acceleration. Use compatibility mode on Windows if necessary. If all else fails, consider reinstalling ArcScene.

      The Z factor in a GIS raster to TIN conversion adjusts elevation values (Z) to match the horizontal units (X and Y). If elevation values are in meters and horizontal distances in feet, the Z factor converts the elevation values to ensure the TIN accurately represents the terrain.

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  25 днів тому

      The Z factor converts the elevation values to ensure the TIN accurately represents the terrain, if you give zero to Z factor then it converts to a flat layer.

    Is it possible to add coordinates (latitude and longitudes of the grid) to that 3d map at ARCSCENE?

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  25 днів тому

      1: Add Graticule in ArcMap: Use the Grids and Graticules Wizard to create a graticule layer and export it as a shapefile.
      2: Load in ArcScene: Add the graticule shapefile to your ArcScene project.
      3: Label Coordinates: In ArcScene, right-click the graticule layer, go to Properties > Labels, and set the label field to latitude/longitude.
      4: Adjust Elevation: In Properties > Base Heights, set the graticule’s base height.
      This will add latitude and longitude coordinates to your 3D map in ArcScene.

    • @bestsolutionline
      @bestsolutionline  25 днів тому

      To convert a 3D layer in ArcScene to AutoCAD, you can follow these steps:
      1.Export the 3D Layer to a Shapefile:
      In ArcScene, right-click the 3D layer you want to export>Select Data > Export Data.>Save the layer as a shapefile (.shp)>
      2. Convert the Shapefile to CAD Format:>Open ArcMap or ArcCatalog.>Use the Export to CAD tool:>Go to ArcToolbox > Conversion Tools > To CAD > Export to CAD.>Input the shapefile you exported from ArcScene.>Set the output type to AutoCAD (e.g., DWG or DXF).>Choose the appropriate options for your CAD file.>Run the tool to create the CAD file.
      3. Import the CAD File into AutoCAD:>Open AutoCAD.>Use the IMPORT command to open the DWG or DXF file.
      .4. Adjust the units and scale if necessary to ensure the 3D data is correctly represented.
