Lolly, I find your work so very beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with another Texas girl trying her hand at silversmithing. Hugs hon.
Fantastic, i thought it would be a long time yet until Kirby was back out visiting artisans. The silver looks great, its easy to see why it was so popular in 18th century dress.
I've completely stopped wearing belts in favor of braces, but this is some beautiful work indeed. I feel like the perceived formality of an item like this is highly dependent on local culture. This feels more like a southern thing to me, but I might be showing my sartorial ignorance here too. There are a few more casual outfits inspired by some of Alan Flusser's lookbooks that I was thinking about adding back into my wardrobe, which use a belt.
@@Jim58223 Yes exactly. I feel like people make it a point to use the British term "braces" instead of "suspenders" in order to distinguish them from the clip-on kind
@@Huffman_Tree Yeah, when I think braces I think buttons and button tabs. I too, much prefer them to belts. They're just better for a dozen different reasons lol.
Jeeves: Shall I lay out one of your novelty handkerchiefs for you today, Sir? Bertie: Oh, come off it, Jeeves! Everyone wears things with initials on them nowadays. Jeeves: I thought the practice was restricted to those who were in danger of forgetting their names, Sir.
Hi Kirby - love the content. Just wondering what had happened to all of the quarantine livestreams? Had wanted to go back to relive a couple but can’t find them on the channel. Wondering if they’re permanently deleted or only unavailable in the UK for some reason?
Amazing! Great to see such beautiful artisanal work that is so unique! Will check out th e site and pick one up. Nice to have a one of a kind item to wear! Thanks!!
It's a good video. The framing between the artist sitting and the interviewer standing was awkward. More close-ups of the artists hands at work, would be appreciate. The artist story, skill, and product is top notch. 👌
After watching this, I think you'd be able to make some great content with Josh Smith of the Montana Knife Company. He is a master smith and a very talented knife maker.
This was outstanding, Kirby. Hand crafted authenticity.. hard to beat that.

Great video, out of the mainstream. It drives me nuts your tie is tied with the smaller/thinner blade so far below the front or show panel.
She really needs to work on her website. Adobe stopped support flash already.

Kirby you really should have your own tv show. this would appeal to a lot of the general public, some who often don't use youtube

Who disliked this 30 minute video when it's only been up for 1 minute?
Maybe they don't like Bach
@@Huffman_Tree LOL
I agree, she does beautiful work

Probably someone without style or class

So very beautiful and just up the road from me. San Antonio, TX.

What’s with the tail of your tie hanging below the front of your tie? I thought you were a fashion UA-camr?
You need some help with your tie Kirby 😂. The back isn’t supposed to be longer than the front. :p

Great stuff
Website comes up permanently closed is that so?
Nice video Kirby but where's your mask?
Grow some balls, stop watching CNN
@@ChipsChallenge95 I didn't know having balls was the vaccine against Covid. thanks for that insight!
Why are you not wearing a mask or socially distancing? Was this recorded prior to COVID-19?
🙄🙄🙄🙄
Omg wtf is wrong with you?
I dont know, mabe its a western thing. Beautiful work, but not for me.
