I feel so lucky that I was able to meet you! you asked what me and my friends caught and it made our days! It takes a lot of courage to come back after what happened. My dad has issues with his voice sometimes due to a rare condition and can’t always finish sentences but he’s still very social. You both are a very big inspiration to me 😁

Hey Rob I wanted to say it took me about 2 yrs learning how to walk and talk again. Speech therapy took the longest for me but I made a 100% recovery today. God is on your side. Amazing recovery! Keep up the awesome videos.

I’ve said it before probably several times over the years. You are truly inspirational. From the beginning of your channel showing us how to filet and cook our catches for our families to enjoy. Taking us with you on adventure after adventure, from Central America to Alaska and over to Africa. The culture that you have continuously supported with your commitment to your faith, family and to nature in itself is amazing.
Now showing us that even though life can throw you a curveball you can still get back up to the plate and make something happen. I just want you and everyone else that reads this to know: You will be tested, how you come out of that test can be the difference between heaven or hell.

I'm 40, a native Floridian, and grew up as a kid in PSL so I remember what Florida used to be. Fishing the canals was always fun with the things you would find. It's great that you and your kids get to enjoy it - many kids here today don't know how fun and wild it once was! Nature was everything then! Makes me sad that my kid will never see Florida like it was when we were younger (costs are too high for land now) but that's development for you. Maybe the development will slow down again... but your vids always make happy to still be here and remind me of how it should be!

Rob thanks for the inspiration. I read your story regarding your car accident and it gives me hope for my recovery. I had a horrible accident 3 weeks ago and crushed C-1 through C-6 in my neck in back. I got really depressed when I heard what happen to you when you had a stroke and then you make a cast netting video and you gave me hope. All I can say is thank you for the power you have given me and hopefully I will be back fishing soon. I don't know you, but I love you. Keep up the good work my brother. We need a lot more Rob"s in the world.

I love how Rob is working on the things he's having trouble with. For someone as talkative as he is, it must be quite frustrating when his mouth occasionally has a glitch. He might be embarrassed about it, but humor is the right attitude... these things can happen to anybody.

Hey Robert, I want to start out by saying, I am so happy that you are ok and doing pretty good. I'm glad to see you are out and about doing what you love. Also they make ear plugs that your daughter can wear while she is free diving to prevent water getting in her ears. I wear them when I get in the pool since I have had my ear drum bust. I also had my Tonsils and adenoids taken out when I was 6 or 7 years old because my nose would bleed from the littlest touch or if I tapped my head or anything like that. I loved it because I enjoyed all the Jello, ice pops, and ice cream that I could eat and the attention I got from everyone. I'm glad to see you and the family are doing well. Great video as usual.
