Hannah's Tune (untitled tune from the Rowallan lute MS)

This is an untitled Scottish tune from the Rowallan lute manuscript (early seventeenth century). I have been presumptuous and followed Rob MacKillop's precedent ( • Rhona's Tune (Scottish... ) by naming this tune after my daughter. Presumptuous because, unlike Rob, I can claim no contribution to the research, teaching or playing of this music. However, I do like Rob's habit of assigning names to these various untitled pieces (and my darling daughter deserves a tune of her own). Also, I have never heard a previous recording of this piece. The version I play comes from Wayne Cripps's edition of Rowallan (Lyre Publications, reprinted by The Lute Society).
