  • My last MG ride from Mailani to Pilibhit was a memorable one. Vishnu, Ajay, Samar and myself enjoyed some fast runs interspersed with halts at Akelahanspur Halt, Sehramau, Dudhia Khurd, Puranpur, Shahgarh and Mala. The icing on the cake were the YDM4 chugs and frequent honking.

I've enjoyed a lot this journey. The route and it's landscape is really great. I didn't know a MG Passenger can run at 70Kmph during last days of service. Awesome compilation and the man who entered by window was quite comic.

Recently travelled in Darjeeling Mail hauled by electric locomotive!!
I noticed,at the time of the departure of the train from any station, the engine created a massive jerk, which really caused a headache and it caused the same jerk sometimes, the train was accelerating!!!!I didn't experience these issues in the diesel locomotives hauled trains!!!!The departures are so very smooth in the diesel engine hauled trains!!!!!Don't know the reasons behind it but I think, the reason is maybe because the diesel locomotives have a huge load hauling capacity so the departures are smooth!!!!!Secondly, the LHB Coaches are definitely safer but the space in the side-upper berths is so decreased due to the side ceiling attached to it is broadened towards the inside of the train and it creates a problem while leaning or while sleeping specially, while travelling in the scorching summer-night!!Otherwise,all good!!
I really agree that development is indeed vital but along with that, the comfortness, the beauty[look at the recent window designs! It really looks like busses!],the aesthetics, the ambiences should also be kept'n note!!
Not everybody, but, most'f the passengers are also least interested in enjoying the ambience other than submerging themselves into the cells!!
OUR BELOVED RAILGARIS ARE BECOMING MORE LIKE A BOX LIKE VEHICLES WITH METERIALISTIC,TOXIC, STALE VIBES,MORE THAN THE TRAINS WE LOVED ONCE!!Do any friends here agree!!
    Dear Mani Vijay:
I know, this is an off-the-topic comment for this video but just sharing my views with you!Your videos reminds me of the innocent,down-to-earth,hardworking,travel loving "GOLDEN DAYS"!The emotions, attachments, excitements & creativity filled river which is may be drying up due to the contamination of fakeisms, materialisms even in small kids, must be cleaned up & must be made to flow again in its full pace!!
    STAY BLESSED AND TAKE CARE
YOU & EVERY FRIENDS, HERE IN THIS COMMENT SECTION!!
