- In Sept of 2019, I purchased what was one of my dream vehicles ever since I was a little kid! I was fortunate enough to have a friend of mine pass on his 2005 Subaru WRX STI to me with s with a laundry list of modifications. Now I was able to do the first video of this car in Panama city, hope you guys enjoy it.
Big thanks to my boy Julian, to my brother Ramses and Ray who made this Cinematic video posible.
Absolutely gorgeous car, video work, and driving. Love the whistling sound of that HKS bov. Think I'll need to get one for my sti.

@@tawmervillalaz481 I was like that sounds like mine and immediately scrolled down to try to look and see if you also had equal length headers. It makes it sound like the car is giving all its strength to pull.
@@plople11 What are you talking about it? it sounds like ever other 4 cylinder with the muffler cut off. It's sounds exactly like my Civic.

I have 03 JDM spec C, 02c, basically same looking but with a roofvent. and tuned front bumb and side skirts. but mine is slower :) 350whp, even when I drive like crazy the oil temp never goes higher than 93-95С. planning on rebuilding next year, going closer to 500whp (bigger turbo, not twinscroll), the cooling can take it but the engine wont :)

My 17 sti blew up at 50000 miles. Spun rod bearing. Never beat it company wants to charge me 20k for new engine that is built to laat but only 300 to wheels lmao
Building it to be reliable. No thanks. Subaru class action lawsuit is a joke as well they are fucking over so many people with cobb stage 1. All psrts are carb complient as well but nope. We built it like shit but its your fault for putting intake on car. Give us 8k to do a shitty job
Maintenance is key. My 05 is at 100k. I beat the shit out of it daily. 20k is a rip off. Look for another shop.

@@P_Tag that is my point. Leave the UEL headers so it doesn't sound like a civic which this one does.
@@jeremydawkins8399 each has their advantage/disadvantage as far as the equal and unequal length headers go. I owned a 2005 STi with upgraded turbo, fuel system, fmic, you name it so I have a decent understanding of pros and cons of each bolt on mod and what it’s advantages and disadvantages are.

Beautiful subie all I know as a SUBARU mechanic if you notice at low idle you here the rumble what really identify a Subaru and at high RPM any subie sound like a roar sound but I like the rumble boxer sounds unique from Subaru some people don't like it i like it cause if what really make the difference if like mazda rotary the engine sounds if different than the others cars man enjoy that amazing rally machine GOD bless you all
