Thank you for this, I did something similar on some pants and cut out the appliques from my daughter's old prom dress and sewn them to my pants. Her dress had a washed out fading in some parts of the dress and she didn't want it. Lol Also I used a matching thread with mine instead of clear thread, maybe one day i will try it. ❤
