My heart sinks when that happens. I am paranoid now...I take the lid off the other end on any suspect marker.
    Such a precious card!

I looked at the picture knowing you had a bloop before watching the video and I couldn't identify the area. You did an awesome job of fixing it. LOVE the card AND your coloring!! Thank you Sandy!!

Thank you for not editing out the brown oops! Learning how to recover from that was a great thing to see! And, your sentiment strip at the end was a genius way to use the rectangle dies to get the stitched border! I’ll have to remember that trick!

I can so relate to this! This happened to me during my Christmas Card Series with a hot pink. I turned off the camera and had a moment of panic, composed myself, turned it back on, and just continued with the coloring as usual. In the end, I was able to work it to just the teeniest shadow on the edge, and after die-cutting the image out, I was able to clean up that last little bit with a white gel pen. Looking at the final card, you would never know there was ever a "bloop." ;) The whole time I was just thinking, "What would Sandy do?" Guess I was right! Thanks for another awesome video!

Fabulous process and inspiring video! I finally finished my Copic Hex Art chart from the class I took with you last year and I used my colorless blender to fix so many boo boos! :D YAY! It turned out awesome, and I had so much fun! It was great to re-live your wonderful class, and now I have a frameable piece that I LOVE! xoxo, Kristina

This is a darling card and it IS always educational to see how you manage a bloop. I had my first bloop ever, the other day and I DID keep going and fixed it. Whoo hoo! Yes, I do listen and practice what you suggest in your videos. Keep up the good work.

What a super cute stamp set and card! I love Ai ! Thank you for sharing a possible way to recover from what I call copic Vomit 🤢. Lol . As a newbie with the markers, I tend to question myself a lot thinking I've done something wrong. It's encouraging to know it's not just me and also I appreciate the advice that even if the image is ruined, finish it out for practice.

Thanks so much for showing this happen. I have had it happen twice now on the last two cards I have tried to color with copic markers. Both times it was in a small area with a big bloop in either dark brown or a red. Not able to repair either. I have never refilled my markers so don't know why it happened. Has made me very paranoid. Glad to see someone below had remarked about taking the cap off the other end. I will give that a try. Thanks again for sharing "mistakes" as it helps us beginners know not to freak out!

I can not tell you how many times the "blob" has happened to me especially using red copies and usually it happens when I am close to finishing...grrrrrrrr!!! I have been able to save some by doing what you did and sometimes by creative cutting...When using almost any red I take both ends off the copic marker and let it breathe...Love your card especially doing the background. I need to practice back grounds like this and they do add to the overall appearance.

I watched this in awe and I am taking your Copic class. Since I haven't ever had to refill any marker I thought well, that won't happen! HA! The next day there was a big blob of ink that came out of one of my E markers! I had asked you about storing them vertically or horizontally and you were kind of enough to answer stating either way works. I guess then my question is, if they are sketch do you put the brush tip up? Thanks in advance for your help. 🙂

If you have a juicy Copic marker, just take both caps off and it will pull ink up to the top so it will not come out as a bloop.
